Woodward Governor Company recently introduced a new rach-mounted power module, BUM60-12/24 0013-G003-0000, designed for the EM-80/EM-300 all-electric actuator system. With its high reliability, high output current, redundant power input and hot swappable module, this power module ensures the stable and uninterrupted operation of the actuator control and drive circuits.
The main function of the BUM60-12/24 0013-G003-0000 power module is to provide stable and consistent power to the actuator with an output current of up to 40A to meet the power needs of the actuator motor and control electronics. It supports a wide input voltage range of 100-240 VAC, 47-63 Hz, and provides an output voltage of 24 VDC. In addition, the module also has a redundant power input function, through the dual power input to achieve high reliability of system operation, reducing the risk of system failure caused by power problems.
Hot swap makes it easy to maintain and replace power modules without interrupting system operation, which is critical for industrial systems that require continuous operation. The DIN rail mounting ensures that the power module can be easily installed and integrated into the control cabinet.
In addition, the power module operates in a temperature range of 0°C to +50°C, has an IP20 protection rating, and has a compact size design, specifically 19 inches x 1.75 inches x 3.5 inches, and weighs only 6 pounds (about 2.7 kg), which makes it ideal for space-constrained industrial applications.
Woodward Governor Company’s BUM60-12/24 0013-G003-0000 power modules are integral components in industrial automation and control systems. Its precise control capabilities and durability provide powerful power support for a wide range of industrial valves, dampers and other actuators.
