General Electric (GE) has expanded its Mark VIe family of control systems with the introduction of a new discrete input/output module, the IS220PDIOH1A. Designed for industrial automation and control systems, this module provides high-precision data acquisition and transmission capabilities, supports a wide range of sensors and actuators, and has programmable logic controller (PLC) capabilities.
The IS220PDIOH1A module has a modular design and flexible configuration options, which can be customized according to different application requirements. It has 24 discrete inputs and 12 relay outputs, input type is dry contact, input signal level is 24V DC, output signal level is also 24V DC. In addition, the module also has two Ethernet ports and supports the 100Base-TX communication protocol, which can realize the efficient transmission of data and control instructions.
The module has a rated current of 2A, a supply voltage of 24V DC, a dimensions of 230mm x 170mm x 85mm and a weight of approximately 2kg. It complies with several safety standards, including IEC 61010-1, EN 61010-1, DIN VDE 0411-1 and CSA C22.2 No.1010-1, ensuring safety and reliability in a variety of industrial control applications.
IS220PDIOH1A has a wide range of applications, including but not limited to power plants, oil and gas production, chemicals, water treatment, and transportation. Its launch not only improves the performance of the Mark VIe series control system, but also brings more possibilities to the field of industrial automation.
It is worth noting that the IS220PDIOH1A module has been approved for use in hazardous sites and is designed to meet the requirements for specific field wiring, including details such as wire size and screw torque. This feature enables the module to operate stably even in harsh industrial environments, providing strong support for higher levels of automation and intelligence.
