The 3500/65 series of mechanical vibration monitors from Bently Nevada, Model 1459988-02, together with the 172103-01 RTD/Isolated Tip TC I/O module, provide a high-precision monitoring solution for industrial production. The temperature monitor has 16 monitoring channels and is able to accept temperature inputs from resistance temperature detectors (RTDS) and isolated tip thermocouples (TCS) and compare these inputs with user-programmable alarm setpoints to ensure machine reliability and safety.
The 3500/65 series monitors have flexible Configuration options and can be programmed with 3500 Rack Configuration Software to suit different monitoring needs. In addition, the system also supports Modbus, OPC and other communication protocols, which is easy to integrate with existing industrial automation systems.
It is also stable in harsh operating environments, as it can withstand the temperature range of -20°C to 70°C, and has a storage capacity of 32MB to support data recording and analysis.
The 172103-01 I/O module is a key component of the 3500/65 temperature monitoring system with an internal terminal that accepts temperature input signals from the RTD and TC. In a three-module redundancy (TMR) configuration, the module is able to ensure the accurate operation of the monitoring system and avoid single points of failure through two voting mechanisms, thus significantly improving the reliability and fault tolerance of the system.
Ideal for industrial applications requiring temperature monitoring and protection, the 3500/65 series mechanical vibration monitors offer not only high precision monitoring capabilities, but also flexible configuration options and powerful data logging and analysis capabilities to help engineers perform predictive maintenance and identify potential problems in advance.
