Rockwell Automation’s Allen-Bradley brand introduces the new GuardPLC 1800 Series safety controller, the 1753-L32BBM-8A. Designed for safety control in industrial automation, this compact, high-performance safety PLC features 24 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs, as well as 8 analog inputs to meet complex safety control needs.
The 1753-L32BBM-8A, with its fast scan time and rich I/O configuration, is suitable for a variety of safety-related control applications, such as robot safety control, conveyor safety control, press safety control, etc. It has built in a variety of safety features, including safety stop, safety door monitoring and safety interlock, to ensure the safety of industrial automation equipment.
The controller supports the Modbus communication option, making it easy to exchange data with other industrial automation devices. In addition, the 1753-L32BBM-8A is designed to connect to a 24 volt DC/8 amp power supply with an IP20 protection rating and an operating temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius.
The Allen-Bradley 1753-L32BBM-8A controller measures 114 mm x 257 mm x 80 mm (including the shield plate) and weighs approximately 2.6 pounds (1.2 kg). Rockwell Automation recommends not using this device outside the temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius and has been rigorously tested to CE, C-Tick and c-UL-us standards.
