The PXIe-4082 is a high-performance 6½ bit digital multimeter manufactured by National Instruments with ±300 V measuring capability and a built-in 1.8 MS/s isolated digitizer with L and C measuring capabilities. As a digital multimeter, the PXIe-4082 is capable of fast and accurate AC/DC voltage, AC/DC current, 2-wire or 4-wire resistance, frequency, period measurement, and diode testing. In high voltage isolated digitizer mode, the PXIe-4082 is capable of acquiring waveforms at a sampling rate of up to 1.8 MS/s, with frequencies ranging from 15 Hz to 500 kHz. In addition, the device has A versatile resolution of 10 to 23 bits and is capable of measuring voltages up to 300 VDC (300 Vrms), currents up to 1 A, resistances up to 100 MΩ, and basic capacitance and inductance measurement capabilities.
This device is very useful in industrial automation control, military computer fields, and applications requiring accurate measurements. Its design has been rigorously tested to work stably and reliably for a long time, and it has a wealth of I/O interfaces, including multiple USB ports, gigabit Ethernet ports, and so on, to connect high-speed external devices. The PXIe-4082 is 3U in size, one-slot, PXI/cPCI module, weighs approximately 340 g (12 oz), and has a recommended warm-up time of 60 minutes.
