GE Fanuc’s VMIC brand recently launched a high-performance VMEbus board, the VMIVME-4150. Designed for industrial automation and control systems in high-interference environments, the 6U board provides stable and reliable analog output under extreme conditions. The VMIVME-4150 board has 12 fully isolated analog output channels, each providing isolation voltage of up to ±1,000V, ensuring electrical isolation between channels and system safety.
The board is available in a range of output voltages, including ±2.5V, ±5V, ±10V or 0 to +2.5V, 5V, 10V, and supports a load capacity of 10mA over the full ±10V range. In addition, the VMIVME-4150 offers current loop output options from 4 to 20mA, 0 to 20mA or 5 to 25mA to meet the needs of different application scenarios. The 12-bit resolution of the board ensures high accuracy of the output signal, with the voltage output accuracy of 0.05% and the current loop output accuracy of 0.08%.
The VMIVME-4150 board adopts optical data coupling to achieve complete current isolation and simplify program control. The board also has a static read back data register, which is convenient for system testing and debugging. Users can access the board through the front panel for quick operation and status monitoring.
The board is suitable for a variety of industrial applications, including but not limited to nuclear instrumentation, automated test equipment (ATE), monitoring systems, high-interference environments, and where analog data transfer between systems and elimination of ground loops are required. With the launch of the VMIVME-4150, VMIC’s product line in the field of VMEbus systems is further enriched, providing engineers and researchers with a powerful tool to tackle a variety of complex engineering challenges.
