Rockwell Automation has announced the 2198-P208, a new DC bus power supply for Kinetix 5700 series servo drive systems. The addition of this new model further strengthens the competitiveness of the Kinetix 5700 series in the field of industrial automation, especially in applications requiring a large number of shafts and high power output.

The 2198-P208 DC bus power supply is designed to provide continuous output power up to 46kW and continuous output current of 69.2A, meeting the needs of high-performance motor control. It uses a three-phase 324-528V (480V nominal) RMS AC input voltage and has a module width of 85mm, making it ideal for space-constrained industrial applications. In addition, the high efficiency of the power supply reaches 99%, and the internal capacitance is 2050μF, which can provide 453J capacitive energy absorption, ensuring the stable operation and fast response capability of the system.
