August 27, 2024 – Prosoft Technology, a leading provider of industrial communication solutions, announced the availability of the MVI56E-MNETC Enhanced Modbus TCP/IP communication module. Designed for use with Rockwell Automation® ControlLogix® Programmable Automation Controllers (PACs), the module significantly improves the performance of controlling multiple servers over Modbus TCP/IP networks by providing up to 30 client connections and 20 server connections.
The MVI56E-MNETC module enhances the ability to control multiple devices in complex Modbus TCP/IP networks by supporting multi-client operation. This multi-client capability not only improves response speed, but also reduces the impact on communication with other servers when one server device goes offline. In addition, the module runs both client and server functions, allowing the module to operate as a powerful data concentrator.
Enhancements to the module include configuration and management via the module’s EtherNet port, as well as CIPconnect® technology, which enables bridging over ControlNet™ and EtherNet/IP™ networks. The MVI56E-MNETC and MVI56E-MNETCXT are functionally identical, but the MVI56E-MNETCXT is designed for Logix-XT™ control platforms to operate in extreme environments with higher operating temperature tolerance and protective coatings to withstand harsh or corrosive conditions.
The launch of the MVI56E-MNETC module demonstrates Prosoft Technology’s commitment to continuous innovation in the field of industrial automation and demonstrates the company’s expertise in delivering high-performance communication solutions. This module is now available, and customers can learn more product details and purchase information through Prosoft Technology’s official channels. As Industry 4.0 continues to advance, the MVI56E-MNETC module is expected to play an important role in improving the performance of industrial networks.
