Kollmorgen has introduced the S70602-NANANA, a new product in the S700 series of digital servo drives, a high-performance servo drive designed for complex drive tasks. It integrates onboard Ethernet connectivity, supports EtherCAT® and SynqNet™ communication protocols, and provides an MMC memory card slot for easy backup of parameter records and firmware in the field. The S70602-NANANA drive has a safe torque Off (STO) function, and additional safety features can be added, supporting single cable feedback for SFD3 and Hiperface DSL, ensuring high reliability and stability in industrial automation and mechanical control systems.
The S70602-NANANA servo drivers have power ratings ranging from 0.5kW to 250kW, voltage ranges from 200V to 690V, current ratings from 2.5A to 100A and speed ranges from 0 to 6000 rpm. It uses vector control, has Ethernet and RS-232 communication interfaces, and achieves SIL 2 safety level. In addition, the drive features automatic tuning and joint pressing, as well as the fastest feedback evaluation capability on the market.
The Kollmorgen S70602-NANANA servo drive increases the machine’s cycle rate with its high current, speed and position control, while increasing the flexibility of motion through the built-in IEC 61131 macro programming language. Its multi-interface and multi-feedback capabilities are compatible with all standard controllers and feedback systems, reducing the need for multiple drive types in stock. In addition, the on-board EMC filter and integrated power and brake resistance design make the switchgear smaller, providing a more compact solution for industrial applications.
The S70602-NANANA servo drives are used in a wide range of applications including, but not limited to, oil and gas, chemical industry, power, manufacturing, mining, metallurgy, water treatment and textiles. Its launch further enrichis Kollmorgen’s product line in the field of industrial automation and motion control, providing customers with more choices and possibilities.
