Bently Nevada, the world’s leading manufacturer of protection and monitoring systems for rotating machinery, today announced the availability of its new universal equipment monitor 1900/65A-01-01-00-00-00. With its superior performance and high reliability, this new monitor meets the market demand for more efficient and accurate industrial monitoring solutions.
The 1900/65A-01-01-00-00-00 is a monitor specifically designed for industrial applications. It offers four sensor inputs and four temperature inputs to fully monitor the operating status of the equipment. The sensor input can be configured to support 2 – and 3-wire accelerometers, speed sensors, or proximity sensors, while the temperature input supports E, J, K, and T type thermocouples and 2 – or 3-wire RTDS. In addition, the monitor offers six relay outputs, four 4-20 mA recorder outputs and a dedicated buffer output, allowing users to flexibly configure according to their needs.
A notable feature of the monitor is its Modbus Gateway option, which allows the monitor to provide static variables, status, event lists, time and date information directly to any Modbus client. This includes distributed control systems (DCSs), supervisory control and Data acquisition (SCADA) systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), or System 1 software. With a built-in Ethernet connection, users can use software running on a laptop or PC to define monitor operations and Modbus Gateway register maps, and download configuration files into the monitor.
The launch of 1900/65A-01-01-00-00 not only enhances Bently Nevada’s product line in the field of industrial monitoring, but also provides more choice and higher value to industrial customers worldwide. With its high reliability, robust protection and flexible communication options, the monitor is suitable for a variety of industrial systems, including power, petrochemicals, water treatment, pulp and paper, machining, mining, cement and more.
