Rockwell Automation today announced the launch of a new analog I/O module, the 1769-OF8V, which is part of its popular CompactLogix™ 5370 L3 series. The introduction of this new module is designed to provide greater flexibility and more precise control capabilities for industrial control systems.
The 1769-OF8V module is an 8-channel analog output module that supports Plus/Minus 10V DC and 0 to 5V DC output signals, which is suitable for application scenarios that require accurate analog signal control. The compact design of the module, which measures 87mm deep and 118mm high, makes it easy to install in space-constrained industrial control systems.
In terms of technical features, the 1769-OF8V module has the following highlights:
8-channel analog output supports multiple signal types, including voltage and current signals.
High precision output to ensure the accuracy and stability of the control process.
500V AC@710V DC 1 minute isolated voltage withstand, providing excellent electrical isolation performance.
Support for configuration through programming software simplifies installation and commissioning.
Module status leds provide intuitive fault diagnosis and status indication.
In addition, the 1769-OF8V module is plug-and-play and can be easily integrated into existing Rockwell Automation control systems without additional configuration or adjustment. This enables users to quickly deploy new control strategies, improving productivity and system performance.
Rockwell Automation’s Head of Product management said: “The introduction of the 1769-OF8V module further enriches our analog I/O product line and provides industrial customers with even more options. The module’s high performance and flexibility make it ideal for a variety of industrial control applications, including manufacturing, energy, transportation and water treatment.”
