The NI PCI-6040E (Part number: 777383-01) allows the user to get up to 500 kS/s (1-channel, 250 kS/s multichannel), 12-bit resolution on 16 single-ended or 8 differential analog input channels. Contingent upon the user’s hard drive type, the PCI-6040E can stream to circle at rates up to 250 kS/s. It has 2 analog output channels with a 12-bit resolution and a data transfer rate of 1 MS/s.
