The UTEX / Acquisition Logic AL81G 1 GHz A/D Converter Board is a single channel analog input board with a BNC connector for analog signal input, a signal threshold trigger and 64 MSamples on-board acquisition memory.
AL81G
The AL81G is popular for high-speed scanning using higher-frequency ultrasonic signals. It is most often used to digitize the signals from a UT340 or other high-frequency pulser-receivers.
It features a single channel digitizing with 8-bit resolution, at up to 1 GHz sampling frequency. This provides about 40 dB of useful dynamic range, and is suitable for digitizing RF signals up to about 200 MHz center frequency.
The AL81G has a single input for either quadrature encoder or step-and direction signals. This feature enables the digitizer to keep up with the motion of high-speed scanning systems.
