From November 5 to 10, the fifth China International Import Expo was successfully held in Shanghai. As an old friend of the CIIE, Schneider Electric has participated in the exhibition for five consecutive years, constantly bringing bright new ideas, new products and new technologies. It has also reached strategic partnership with more and more Chinese enterprises, and the number of on-site contracts has increased by more than 30% year-on-year this year.
In this regard, Yin Zheng, Global Executive Vice President and President of China of Schneider Electric, said: “Participating in the CIIE for five consecutive years, Schneider Electric has harvested fruitful results, broader development opportunities, increasing ecological partners, and growing confidence in deep development in China. By persisting in innovation, enhancing ecology and enabling a wide range of capabilities, Schneider Electric is expanding its sustainable ecosystem and working with its Chinese partners. In the future, we will continue to leverage our technology and experience to help accelerate the transformation of Chinese industries to both digital and low-carbon.”
The whole picture of “zero-carbon city” has appeared on Weibo to help accelerate the process of carbon reduction in China
In the past five years, “sustainable” has been Schneider Electric’s constant “core”. As an advocate, practitioner and enabler, Schneider Electric has incorporated “sustainability” into its core strategy as early as 2002, accumulating rich practical experience and winning wide recognition from global authorities.
With the help of the world-renowned platform of the CIIE, Schneider Electric continues to bring cutting-edge sustainable development concepts, showcase innovative green technologies, products and services, including software and hardware combined digital technology, green intelligent manufacturing, green energy management and other solutions, as well as leading carbon neutral consulting, to meet the transformation needs of Chinese enterprises. At the same time, Schneider Electric also demonstrated its own sustainable development achievements, such as zero-carbon park, end-to-end green supply chain, etc., to provide reference for the transformation and upgrading of Chinese enterprises.
At this year’s CIIF, Schneider Electric also brought the full picture of “zero-carbon city” for the future, covering 60 zero-carbon application scenarios of 12 industries such as chemical industry, oil and gas, water and environmental protection utilities, public commercial construction, housing, etc. Based on hardware and taking software as the center, it comprehensively combines low-carbon energy, low-carbon industry and low-carbon ecology. This is a vivid demonstration of how Schneider Electric is empowering all sectors to improve efficiency and sustainable impact, providing impetus for the overall carbon reduction of the industrial chain.
Innovation-driven, multi-dimensional upgrading
Digital and low-carbon transformation need to rely on technology, and innovation is the driving force of technological innovation. Five years into the Bo road, but also Schneider Electric’s innovation and upgrading road. This year, Schneider Electric has brought innovation in technology, operations, business models and other dimensions. Among them, technological innovations include a series of new products, such as MVS series of professional offshore wind power products, BIOSCO-PV photovoltaic booster pre-installed substation, and an innovative flexible transport system, Lexium MC12, to fill the gaps in the industry. At the same time, software and hardware integration solutions such as the EcoStruxure Open Automation platform, which continues to be upgraded, have been introduced again to help users continue to increase efficiency, flexibility and sustainability.
Thanks to technological innovation, Schneider Electric has also taken its operations to a new level of green. Among its nearly 30 factories and logistics centers in China, there are 15 “green factories” certified by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, 15 “zero-carbon factories” and one end-to-end “lighthouse factory”. At this year’s CIIE, Schneider Electric demonstrated the new upgrade of green supply chain, from green design, green procurement, green production, green delivery, to green operation and maintenance, promoting the overall transformation of the value chain.
