The China Industrial Internet Research Institute recently released a report on the Innovation and Development of China’s Industrial Internet Platforms. According to the report, China has made positive progress in building industrial Internet platforms. By 2022, there were more than 240 influential industrial Internet platforms in China, with 81 million devices connected to key platforms. The number of industrial apps has exceeded 600,000. In 2022, the number of “double-span” platforms will increase to 28, and 72 new industrial Internet platforms with special features will be established.
“The industrial Internet is a new type of strategic infrastructure for industrialization and a key base for the deep integration of the digital economy and the real economy.” Zhao Zhiguo, chief engineer of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, introduced that since the implementation of the Action Plan for Industrial Internet Innovation and Development (2021-2023) for more than two years, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has adhered to the principle of moderate advance and completed the comprehensive construction of infrastructure. The industrial Internet logo analysis system covers 31 provinces and 40 industries, serving more than 250,000 enterprises, forming a comprehensive, characteristic and professional multi-level industrial Internet platform system.
At the same time, the development of Chinese industrial Internet platforms has always adhered to the demand-oriented, and the integrated application has been expanding in depth. “The application of industrial Internet platform has covered many major categories of national economy, forming six application modes: platform-based design, intelligent manufacturing, networked collaboration, personalized customization, service-oriented extension and digital management. The platform promotes the integrated development of upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, large, small and medium-sized enterprises, and plays an increasingly prominent role in improving quality, reducing cost, enhancing efficiency, green and safe.” Lu Chuncong, president of China Industrial Internet Research Institute, introduced that the rapid growth of industrial Internet platforms on the one hand comes from the genes of traditional manufacturing enterprises. For example, Haier Kaos in the home appliance manufacturing industry, Xugong Hanyun in the construction machinery industry, Baoxin Software in the steel industry, etc. The advantages of such platforms lie in richer industrial knowledge, mechanism and experience accumulation, and better understanding of the needs of digital transformation of the industry. On the other hand, it comes from the genes of information and communication companies. Such as Inspur Yunzhou, China Power Internet. The advantages of such platforms are reflected in years of practice and accumulation in the ICT industry, relatively strong production and operation capabilities of information and communication equipment in the service manufacturing industry, and product value advantages through the construction of industrial Internet infrastructure base.
AGV vehicles automatically transfer materials, RGV vehicles to assist in process conversion, Shandong Electric Group New Energy Technology Co., LTD. A 5400 square meter production workshop, now only need 39 staff to complete the daily production. According to the introduction, the company relies on Inspur Yunzhou industrial Internet platform to build a digital workshop, through the installation of acoustic, optical, electrical and other sensors, to achieve the interconnection between equipment and people, the establishment of a more scientific, standardized, standard whole process management system.
