The 873EC analyzer measures the conductivity of aqueous solutions. Its measurement display can be read in uS/cm, mS/cm, or percentage (%). The solution temperature is also measured by 873EC for automatic temperature compensation and is available when required by the user

It provides an isolated output signal proportional to the measurement for transmission to an external receiver. An analyzer mounted on a plastic panel transmits only one output signal, whereas a metal-clad analyzer can transmit two.

The plastic case is suitable for panel mounting in a general purpose position, as well as mounting with panel openings in 1/4DN size. It complies with the case grades of NEMA 1,CSAEncdosure 1 and IEC Protection grades P-45.
Metal enclosures are suitable for field locations and can be panel, pipe or surface mounted. The case is extruded aluminum and coated with a tough epoxy based paint. The case is waterproof, dustproof, and corrosion resistant, in accordance with the case grades of NEMA.4X, CSA Case 4X, and IEC Protection Grade P-65. The device fits 92×92 mm (3.1×3.6 in) panel openings. (1/4DN size). Field mounted enclosures provide radio-frequency interference (RFI) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection.
