On the topic of how to view these opportunities and challenges, Liu Tongjie said that in the past ten years, the national economy has shifted from virtual to real, the rise of manufacturing industry has brought huge customer groups and investment volume, at the same time, with the global strategic contraction and the emergence of anti-globalization trend, all walks of life have set off a wave of localization. When it comes to challenges, there are three main aspects:
The first is bottlenecks in areas such as high-performance chip manufacturing and high-end software design tools.
Secondly, the diversity of technical scenes in the industrial market and the high customization of product application make it difficult to unify the technical standards of industrial intelligent manufacturing and establish a complete ecology in a short time.
Finally, the level of industrial users’ infrastructure is uneven, and there are great differences in technical capabilities. Some users are still in the mechanized level or even manual state. Our goal is to complete the transformation of enterprise intelligence through the combination of automation, information technology and digital technology.

Look into the future of intelligent manufacturing
Liu Tongjie shared two ideas in thinking about the future development of intelligent manufacturing.
First of all, Liu Tongjie cited the views of Professor Ning Zhenbo, chief consultant of China Aviation Corporation, and proposed that the essence of intelligent manufacturing is the industrial basis of software and the production relationship defined by software. In the process of promoting intelligent manufacturing, we should keep a good grasp of logic and timing. We should first talk about digitalization, then intellectualization, and finally intellectualization. In other words, we should first do the basic work well, first do the digital model well, and then focus on developing concrete intelligent applications. Finally, when all the technical conditions are available and all the management philosophy is in place, the real sense of intelligent decision-making ability should be developed around vague and diversified value orientation.
Secondly, in today’s era, with the rapid development of big data and artificial intelligence, the rise of ChatGPT has brought challenges to many jobs, anxiety and crisis to many people. Where the world will go in the future, we can not yet give a definitive conclusion, but there is a clear competitiveness that we need to be aware of, that is, “the ability to ask questions”. For personal cultivation and growth, we need to improve our observation and understanding, and we need to learn how to use artificial intelligence deeply.
