On May 13, the 2023 National Conference on the integration of Industry, education and Science of Industrial Internet and the workshop of the Industrial Internet Sub-committee of the National Industrial and Information Vocational Education and Teaching Steering Committee was held in Huangshi, Hubei Province. With the theme of “vocational integration, integration of industry and education, integration of science and education, promoting innovation and development of Industrial Internet”, the conference invited well-known experts and scholars in the field of industrial Internet, representatives of colleges and universities, vocational colleges and industrial enterprises to have in-depth exchanges on industrial Internet vocational education and talent training.

Luo Junzhang, vice president of China Industrial Internet Research Institute, mentioned in his speech that industrial Internet is one of the most abundant, active and widely used fields in the integration of industry and education in vocational education. China Industrial Internet Research Institute, as the leading unit of the Industrial Internet sub-committee of the Industry, Credit and Industry Advisory Committee, should further play the role of the national team, strengthen the construction of professional think tanks, promote high-quality teaching reform, deepen the integration of industry and education, science and education, and build an industrial Internet talent cultivation ecology.

Lu Xin, president of China Society of Vocational and Technical Education, gave a speech entitled “High-quality Population in Modern Industries: Li Peigen, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, delivered a keynote report entitled “Digital Intelligent Technology and Vocational Education”. Liu Yiguo, director of the Teaching Materials Division of the Vocational Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education, delivered a keynote report entitled “Insisting on Type Orientation, Promoting the Overall Reform of Vocational Education by Standardization”.

The meeting held the establishment ceremony of the special committee of the Industrial Internet Vocational Education and Teaching Guidance Sub-committee and the launching ceremony of the “Industrial Internet Talent training public Service platform”. The leaders attending the meeting issued letters of appointment to the representatives of the 7 director units of the special committee, witnessing the launch of the industrial Internet talent training public service platform.

At the same time, a ceremony was held to launch the construction of a community integrating industry and education in the industrial Internet industry. China Industrial Internet Research Institute, together with leading enterprises in the industry, vocational colleges and scientific research institutions, jointly initiated the proposal to start the preparation of the industrial Internet industry integration of industry and education community, and build a benchmark demonstration of industrial Internet integration of industry and education.

During the conference, a series of activities were also held, such as the theme forum of Industrial Internet integration of industry and education and integration of science and education, the theme forum of innovation and development mode of Industrial Internet Industry College, and the topic discussion on construction standards of practical training and teaching conditions of Industrial Internet major.

This conference is jointly guided by the National Industrial and Information Vocational Education and Teaching Steering Committee, China Society of Vocational and Technical Education, Vocational Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education, China Industrial Internet Research Institute, and hosted by the Industrial Internet Vocational Education and Teaching Steering Sub-Committee. More than 300 representatives from all walks of life attended the meeting.
