However, we must also see that the key technologies and core components are subject to people, independent research and development and the low level of technology are constraints and obstacles in the transformation of China’s equipment manufacturing industry to high-end. At present, Guangshen-Foshan intelligent equipment cluster enterprises R & D and innovation capabilities are still insufficient, high-end CNC systems, grating, high-precision ball bearings and other key components rely on imports, the “jam neck” problem still exists. At the same time, the first test of domestic high-end equipment is difficult to use, high-end equipment development units, user units collaborative innovation efforts are not enough.

In the early development process, there is a gap between domestic equipment and foreign equipment in reliability, resulting in downstream enterprises to produce “can import without domestic” inertia. Due to the lack of application scenarios, the technology is difficult to iterate and improve, and the road to the transformation of domestic equipment to the middle and high-end has become more difficult.
