Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the “Industrial Internet Special Working Group 2020 work Plan” proposed that it will build 10 benchmark networks by the end of the year, and promote 100 key industry leading enterprises and 1,000 local backbone enterprises to carry out industrial Internet Intranet transformation and upgrading. It is predicted that the economic scale of China’s industrial Internet industry will reach 3.1 trillion yuan this year, accounting for 2.9% of GDP.
This year is the end of the three-year action on industrial Internet innovation and development. Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the “Industrial Internet Special Working Group 2020 work Plan”, which proposed 10 major tasks such as improving infrastructure capacity, building industrial Internet platforms, breaking through core technical standards, and promoting the implementation of policies, with a total of 54 specific measures.
The plan proposes that in upgrading and building the external network of the industrial Internet, it is necessary to promote the construction of high-quality external networks of basic telecommunications enterprises covering all cities and cities in the country, and create 20 excellent service cases of industrial Internet external networks of enterprises. In terms of supporting industrial enterprises to build and transform networks within the industrial Internet, 10 benchmark networks will be built by the end of the year, and 100 leading enterprises in key industries and 1,000 local backbone enterprises will be promoted to transform and upgrade the industrial Internet Intranet; All localities are encouraged to organize 1 to 3 industrial enterprises to deeply connect and cooperate with basic telecommunications enterprises, and use 5G to transform the industrial Internet Intranet.
“The industrial Internet network transformation market has huge potential.” The relevant person in charge of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said: “China’s industrial categories, large volume, through the industrial Internet machine tools, robots, processing machinery and other industrial equipment integrated interconnection, and effective implementation of condition monitoring, fault prediction and optimization control, will produce very considerable economic benefits.”
At present, the coverage scale of the industrial Internet network is constantly expanding. “Basic telecommunications companies actively build high-quality external networks with low delay, high reliability and wide coverage for industrial enterprises, which have been extended to more than 300 cities.” The function of identifying and analyzing national top-level nodes has been continuously enhanced, and the number of second-level nodes has reached 47, covering 20 industries in 19 provinces.” Relevant person in charge of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said.
In this regard, the “plan” also proposed that the industrial Internet should enhance the functions of the five top nodes this year, and promote the construction of the two major disaster preparedness node projects in Nanjing and Guiyang. At the same time, more than 20 new identification analysis secondary nodes were built for vertical industries, and 2 billion new identification registrations were added.
At present, industrial Internet penetration has been applied to more than 30 key industries of the national economy, such as construction machinery, steel, petrochemical, energy, transportation, and medical care. “New models such as intelligent production, networked collaboration, personalized customization, service extension, and digital management are active, vigorously promoting transformation and upgrading, and giving birth to new growth points.” Relevant person in charge of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said.
The plan proposes that before November this year, about 10 cross-industry and cross-field platforms will be selected to develop 50 key industry/regional platforms; Relying on the industrial Internet innovation and development project, select a group of solution suppliers to accelerate the implementation and promotion of industrial Internet platform solutions; We promoted 400,000 enterprises to use the cloud platform, and applied the industrial Internet platform to carry out research and development, design, manufacturing, operation management and other services.
It is understood that under the guidance of national policies, 27 provinces have issued local industrial Internet development policies. Local governments have increased investment to support enterprises in cloud, platform and digital transformation, and promote the establishment of industrial investment funds. Beijing, the Yangtze River Delta, and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area have become the country’s industrial Internet development highlands, while the old industrial bases in Northeast China and the central and western regions focus on combining local advantageous industries and actively explore development paths with their own characteristics. At present, the member units of the Industrial Internet industry Alliance have reached nearly 1,500.
It is understood that the number of connected devices on the international leading industrial Internet platform has reached 10 million, mostly large equipment. The average number of device connections of China’s major industrial Internet platforms is moving towards millions, and is in a period of rapid growth. In this regard, an official of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said: “Many small and medium-sized enterprises will benefit from this, which will promote the revitalization of the real economy and promote the formation of a strong domestic market.”
Data from the China Academy of Information and Communications shows that in 2018 and 2019, the economic added value of China’s industrial Internet industry was 1.42 trillion yuan and 2.13 trillion yuan, accounting for 1.5% and 2.2% of GDP, respectively. It is expected that the economic scale of China’s industrial Internet industry will reach 3.1 trillion yuan this year, accounting for 2.9% of GDP.
