On June 29, China’s first 10,000 ton new energy hydrogen production project – Inner Mongolia Ordos City Junge Banner Narisong 400,000kW photovoltaic hydrogen production demonstration project (hereinafter referred to as: Narisong photovoltaic hydrogen production project) held a hydrogen production ceremony, the first party of the project “green hydrogen” successfully produced.

Narisson photovoltaic hydrogen production project is the first batch of solar hydrogen production integration demonstration projects in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, jointly built by the Three Gorges Group and Erdos Manshi Group, which efficiently and closely combines the two clean energy sources of solar energy and hydrogen energy, and uses the green electricity produced by solar energy to decompose water into hydrogen and oxygen through the water electrolysis device. By exploring a new model of green hydrogen production with no pollution and zero emission, the key problem of power balance and consumption in the presence of high proportion of renewable energy connected to the grid is solved.
In this project, the central control technology provides customers with ECS-700 control system, TCS-900 safety instrument system, GDS toxic and harmful gas alarm system and other products, from equipment to software, to meet the customer’s automatic control and safety production needs, and realize the complete business chain of production operation, production safety management, production key information collection and production decision-making. In order to promote the project to achieve the “cost reduction and efficiency, to achieve less humanized production, unmanned, intelligent decision-making” production goals, to escort the project.
DCS, GDS and SIS systems completed factory acceptance (FAT)
Central control technology ECS-700 control system, TCS-900 safety instrument system and GDS toxic and harmful gas alarm system successfully realize the integrated management capability of hydrogen production plant. DCS, GDS and SIS systems have been fully considered in the design of hydrogen production plant information sharing and collaborative work needs, its integrated system structure and series of application software can help users timely access to production status, production management and upper-level decision-making information, while working with different departments to reduce maintenance costs and improve production efficiency.
DCS, GDS and SIS systems have OPC/ODBC and other functions, and realize the effective docking with the open interface of information system data exchange, and fully meet the high efficiency and reliability requirements of enterprise information system. At the same time, DCS, GDS and SIS systems have a flexible system structure to support continuous online system expansion, so as to protect users’ assets, but also fully ensure the stable and safe operation of field equipment.
The success of the solar hydrogen production project has accumulated valuable experience for the scale and commercial development of green hydrogen production in China, and helped China to enhance the overall level of the hydrogen energy “production-storage-transport – use” industrial chain, which has typical demonstration significance, and the project is also an important breakthrough in the field of new energy control technology.
