Bar code printers have been in the Market for many years, according to the report of market research agency FMI (Future Market Insights) in October 2022, it is expected that in the decade of 2022 to 2032, the global bar code printers will grow at a compound annual growth rate of 7.4%. With the continuous innovation of industrial Internet of Things technology, adding bar codes for goods has become an important means to achieve industrial intelligent production, by increasing the bar codes of goods can not only achieve remote operation and intelligent monitoring, but also use the visual analysis of big data to improve the flexibility of enterprise management. In this context, we have launched an industrial barcode printer solution based on the TB67S128FTG and TB67H451FNG motor driver ics.

The TB67S128FTG used in this scheme is a two-phase bipolar stepper motor driver IC with an absolute maximum output of 50V/5A. TOSHIBA’s innovative process helps the MOSFET drive achieve low power consumption and a low on-resistance of 0.25Ω, which reduces heat generation at high current drives. TB67S128FTG supports 128-level micro-step, while reducing power consumption, support large current drive and high-precision control, can be targeted to achieve various motor operation problems, so as to systematically improve the overall performance. In addition, the product offers an advanced current detection system, active gain control, and multiple error detection functions.
The TB67H451FNG is a wide voltage and high current brushed motor driver IC with a wide operating voltage range of 4.5V-44V and a maximum rated specification of 50V/3.5A. It is manufactured using Toshiba’s exclusive BiCD process with excellent low power consumption and low output on-resistance characteristics.
