In recent years, Jinan has insisted on moderately advanced layout of computing and network, promoted operators represented by Shandong Mobile to build a double-gigabit “information highway” system covering urban and rural areas, and was selected as the first batch of “gigabit cities” in the country. At present, the coverage rate of household gigabit optical fiber network in Jinan is 100%, the broadband download rate ranks first in Shandong Province, and 43,000 5G base stations have been built in total, achieving continuous coverage of 5G network in the main urban area, ranking first in the province and leading in the country.
