On July 21, 2023, at the 19th Industrial Automation and Standardization Symposium, The Integrated Technical and Economic Research Institute of Machinery Industry Instrumentation (hereinafter referred to as the Institute), Huawei Technologies Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as Huawei), together with Shenzhen Zhengmotion Technology Co., LTD., Shenzhen Huacheng Industrial Control Co., LTD., and other partners, issued the “Industrial Light Bus White Paper” based on the fifth-generation optical fiber (F5G) technology. In the white paper, the optical bus technology is comprehensively described and analyzed, the protocol architecture, key technologies and development trend of industrial optical bus are introduced in detail, and the specific application scenarios and application effects are listed. With the technical advantages of optical bus, users can give full play to the technical capabilities of optical bus in industrial scenarios, improve the process level of manufacturing equipment, and better achieve intelligent manufacturing and digital transformation of enterprises.
At present, industrial communication networks are facing new challenges.
