In the past two years, China’s robot market has entered a period of stable development from explosive growth, and new changes have occurred in the industry pattern, and domestic and foreign enterprises, old and emerging enterprises have begun to enter a new stage of competition and game. However, the demand for intelligent transformation and upgrading of production and manufacturing is becoming increasingly prominent, the demand for industrial robots is still strong, and China’s industrial robot market remains the world’s largest industrial robot application market and continues to show a good trend.
At the same time, with the commercial application of new technologies such as artificial intelligence, 5G, cloud computing, and big data, the application difficulty of industrial robots has been greatly reduced, especially under the epidemic, more and more industries have begun to adopt industrial robots. In this context, the development of industrial robots in China is becoming more and more exciting, which is vividly demonstrated in this year’s Expo Robot Exhibition (RS).
This year’s robot exhibition still occupies 7.1H and 8.1H two major pavilions, 7.1H is dominated by domestic robot brands, and 8.1H gathers a number of international well-known brands. On an exhibition area of 56,000 square meters, around the theme of “human-machine collaboration, intelligent future”, nearly 300 robot companies jointly formed a robot industry’s most open, most diverse and most innovative business cooperation platform.
Among them, the United States Group for the first time more than a thousand square meters of display scale appeared in the robot exhibition, Kuka robot, the United States cloud intelligence number, central air conditioning, Ande Zhilink four plates for the first time; ABB and Fanuc carry new products to the world/China debut; Yaskawa Electric exhibited the largest number of demonstration machines to date; Kawasaki Robot brings new application research and development results and solutions; Epson, Yamaha display scale has not decreased but increased, bringing the most abundant whole system products and solutions; Foreign brands such as Staubli, Xiongk, THK, Shipu Machinery, IAI, Nabotsk, Hamanaco, Electric Power Xinbao, NSK, ATI, Sinleken, Doosan, etc. resolutely participated in the exhibition regardless of the impact of the epidemic at their foreign headquarters, indicating their determination to deepen the Chinese market.
ABB launched the IRB 1300 robot at this year’s CIIE. It is a locally designed robot that is 27 percent faster and 60 percent lighter than its ABB counterpart, the IRB 1600, with a large operating range and high load capacity, as well as a high degree of flexibility and best-in-class path accuracy. When working in tight Spaces, the IRB 1300 can lift heavy, complex or irregularly shaped materials, enabling customers to develop faster and more accurate solutions.
