The former Swedish sales office operated under the name Turck AB
Turck officially established a subsidiary in Sweden to further promote its globalization process. Since April 1, automation specialist Turck has been operating under the Turck AB name in Jonsered, near Gothenburg. Previously, Turck had been operating in Scandinavian countries through sales offices. Managing Director Jose Ramalho, together with the rest of the staff, serves local and international clients from industries such as mechanical and equipment engineering, internal logistics or pharmaceutical/biotechnology.
“Sweden is a strategically important market for Turck, with many well-known customers. By establishing our own subsidiary, we now have the prerequisites to serve these customers better than ever before.” Ramalho said of the new subsidiary.
Mr. Christian Wolf, Managing Director of Turck Holding, is also very happy about the new subsidiary. “Until now, we have been operating in the Swedish market through our sales office and have achieved continuous growth. We would like to thank our Swedish colleagues for this, we have steadily increased our share of the Swedish market since 2017, and now we look forward to the new subsidiary to better provide customers with quality solutions and services. The creation of Turck AB not only highlights the importance of the Swedish market to Turck, but also strengthens our position among our customers and better meets their needs.”
As an automation specialist, Turck has been awarded the kununu Best Employers Stamp 2023, successfully placing in the top 5% of kununu’s Most Popular Employers list.
To qualify for the Best Employer Seal, participating companies must have earned a rating of at least 3.8 stars from their employees in the past 12 months. 85% of employees who have submitted ratings in the past two years recommend Turk as an employer.
In the “Best Employers in Germany 2022” survey, Turck was again rated “very attractive”. With a rating of 2.59, Turck is in the top 10% of employers in the industrial sector. The national survey, conducted by Le Monde, asked more than 700,000 citizens to rate the attractiveness of 3,906 companies in the services, trade and industry sectors.
“We are very pleased with this award, as it shows that the Turck Group remains a very attractive employer in Germany.” “We are particularly pleased with the high ratings and referral rates given by our employees,” said Turck’s managing director for finance and human resources management.
