As a global event to promote sustainable development with young people, Go Green has attracted more than 160,000 students from 200 countries since its inception in 2011. This year, Schneider Electric combined Go Green with the “University Electrical and Electronic Engineering Innovation Competition” in the mode of school-enterprise cooperation to open up a new enterprise track, providing a platform for college students to play green ideas and strengthen innovative application and practical ability.
Since its roots in China 36 years ago, Schneider Electric has always been committed to empowering local talent development. Through school-enterprise cooperation, Schneider Electric continues to deepen the talent training model of the integration of production and education, and help college students grow into professionals in the fields of energy management, intelligent manufacturing, green and low-carbon. So far, Schneider Electric has reached cooperation with more than 100 universities and higher vocational colleges, and nearly 12,000 teachers and students carry out study and research in Schneider Electric joint laboratories every year, providing impetus for the development of various industries with technological innovation. At the same time, the “French Schneider Electric Green low-carbon production and Education Integration Project” jointly carried out by Schneider Electric and China Education Association for International Exchange has covered 35 higher vocational and application-oriented undergraduate colleges and universities, and continues to provide applied talents for the society.
