In recent years, the market demand for air source heat pumps has continued to grow rapidly, experiencing three waves of acceleration in turn – a year-on-year growth of 63.4% in 2016, a year-on-year growth of 30.1% in 2020, and a year-on-year growth of 15.2% in 2022. Improving efficiency and quality is the inevitable result of the sustainable development of the entire industry, and commercial heat pumps and module machines bear the brunt as end-products in large capacity segments. Due to historical reasons, the development of large-displacement scroll compressors in the domestic market is relatively slow, and it is urgent to research and develop domestic large-displacement variable frequency scroll compressors that meet the efficient and competitive needs of the domestic market.
GMCC puts forward three innovative technologies through the dimensions of efficient and high torque output of motors, active control of oil output, and industrialization of efficient and reliable pump bodies, and successfully realizes the localization of high-efficiency variable frequency scroll compressors with large displacement, which is crucial to the high-quality and sustainable development of the entire value chain. The project technology can not only be applied to the high efficiency of variable frequency heat pump and module machine, but also to the efficiency and quality improvement of terminal applications such as variable frequency multi-connection and variable frequency room air conditioning, from commercial electrical appliances to household appliances, mobile air conditioning, automobile air conditioning, cold chain refrigeration equipment and other fields.
