The Nagoya, Japan-headquartered CC-Link Partner organization has announced that it has added ix Industrial® Gbit Ethernet Interface Type A (compliant with IEC 61076-3-124) to its list of recommended standards for CC-Link IE TSN Network Communication Specifications. ix Industrial® is widely recognized as an effective complement to existing RJ45 and M12X coding solutions, as well as a reliable solution for the industrial sector. Harting ix Industrial® products provide additional functionality for demanding application scenarios.

Harting’s ix Industrial® device jack is 70% smaller than the traditional RJ45.

Harting’s Mini PushPull ix Industrial® is IP65 rated and supports on-site installation and custom molding.

In March 2023, CC-Link partner organizations released a revised CC-Link IE TSN specification. In addition to the common RJ45 and M12X coding solutions, the ix Industrial® Type A interface (a 10-pin rectangular connector that meets IEC 61076-3-124) has been specifically included. ix Industrial® interfaces comply with IEC 61076-3-124 and support Ethernet transfer rates of up to 10 Gbit/s.
