Guangdong robot industry will welcome new breakthroughs in the manufacturing of core components. On September 11, the reporter learned from Guangdong Tiantai Robot Co., Ltd. that the “General technical requirements for precision electric drive harmonic gear modules” plan has been formally approved, which is the first national standard for robot core components approved in Guangdong, and will help China’s robot industry to further grasp the upstream technology and pricing power of the industry.
Generally speaking, precision electric drive harmonic gear module technology is applied to an integrated robot joint. This technology integrates high-end precision technology such as integrated harmonic reducer, integrated servo motor, compiler communication, driver and algorithm software, and each technology is difficult to develop.
The national standard of this project is to promote the formation of industry technical specifications after the technological breakthrough of localization of core components such as robot joints, integrated servo motors, and integrated reducers. “In the integrated joint technology, the integration of high-end technology, functional operation experiments, the project criteria are extremely innovative and challenging.” National gear standardization technical committee secretary-general Wang Zhigang said.
Wang Zhigang introduced that at present, the domestic robot industry mostly relies on imported reducer and motor technology, and most of them use separate methods. Integrated robot joint technology, innovative use of integrated robot assembly technology, while taking the lead in formulating national standards, will also provide technical specifications for the development of such technical products in the future.
At present, Guangdong encourages private enterprises to actively promote standardization construction, improve the level of product quality, strengthen standard research in key technology fields, and promote industrial reform.
This standard is led by Foshan Shunde enterprise Guangdong Tiantai Robot Co., LTD., and jointly completed by Zhuhai Gree, Guizhou Qunjian Precision, Guangzhou Aosong Electronics, Industrial Analysis and Testing Center of Guangdong Academy of Sciences, Chongqing University and other well-known enterprises in the industry, testing institutions and universities. It is expected that after 18 months of testing and verification, the standard will officially enter the market.
“The standard set up this time has two key words, one is modular, is the integration of a number of technologies; The second is electric drive, which will be the future direction of the robot industry.” Zheng Bin, co-founder and executive president of Tiantai Robot, said that he hopes to further promote the modular and standardized core parts of robots through the establishment of standards, and boost the robot industry to achieve large-scale production.
