The “Digital Future Education Program” online courses include: “Siemens Digital Factory Fundamentals”, “Digital Virtual Simulation Fundamentals”, “Siemens Lean Thinking Fundamentals”, “Mendix Low Code Development Fundamentals”.
The program will cover more than 200 faculty members and 5,000 students in 10 institutions
The “Digital Future Education Program” is an important part of the “Together for Love – Siemens China Philanthropy Program”
Siemens has partnered with 10 vocational education institutions in China to open online courses in the Digital Future Education Program. The “Digital Future Education Program” actively responds to the needs of digital education and digital talent development, and strengthens the training of innovative, application-oriented and skilled talents through public welfare cooperation with China’s higher vocational education institutions, so as to inject “talent impetus” into the high-quality development of China’s economy.

The 10 colleges and universities cooperating with Siemens are: Chongqing City Management Vocational College, Chongqing City Vocational College, Chongqing Electric Power College, Chongqing Three Gorges Vocational College, Dazhou Vocational and Technical College, Jiangmen City Technician College, Linyi City Technician College, Linyi Vocational College, Neijiang Vocational and Technical College, Zhanjiang City Technician College. Siemens will open to them “Siemens Digital Factory Basics”, “Digital Virtual Simulation Basics”, “Siemens Lean Thinking Basics”, “Mendix Low Code Development Basics” and other online courses, covering more than 200 teachers and 5,000 students, through technical analysis, case discussion and other content to let teachers and students more in-depth grasp of digital technology and thinking.
Siemens plans to take this cooperation as an opportunity to fully empower the development of vocational education and optimize the structure of talent training. In the future, Siemens will cooperate with more vocational education colleges, and add workshops, visits and other forms to promote the implementation of diversified digital talent training public welfare projects, and support regions and schools with relatively poor educational resources to strengthen digital training capabilities.
