On September 7, 2023, the China Robot Industry Ecological Conference was held in Shijiazhuang International Convention and Exhibition Center, Hebei Province. It was organized by the Organizing Committee of China International Digital Economy Expo and undertaken by the World Robot General Alliance Co., Ltd. and Tangshan Municipal People’s Government. Hebei Robot Industry Alliance, Guangdong Mechanical Engineering Society, Guangdong Intelligent Equipment Manufacturing Association, Shenzhen Chamber of Finance and Commerce co-organized. Yu Huarong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the China Invention Association, and Prince, chairman of the World Robot General Alliance Co., Ltd. addressed the conference respectively.
With the theme of “Human-machine Collaboration to jointly promote the development of China’s robot industry”, this conference is based on building a communication platform for the development of China’s robot industry, focusing on key areas such as robot core technology, product research and development, innovation and application, and industrial clusters, using the conference as a medium to promote the integrated development of digital economy and robots, and promote the upgrading and transformation of traditional industries. Promote the expansion and upgrading of the robot industry. Through the holding of the event, the conference will further strengthen the communication of Hebei’s robot industry in the “five chains” of innovation chain, industrial chain, supply chain, financial chain and talent chain, promote the in-depth cooperation of China’s robot industry, stimulate the new vitality of industrial ecology, and help build the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei robot industrial cluster.
Tan Jianrong, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, believes that according to the different degrees of intelligence, intelligent robots can be divided into three categories: sensing, interactive and autonomous. Intelligent scene recognition, interworking integration, human-computer interaction anthropomorphism are the technical development direction of intelligent robots. In the process of the development of intelligent robots, 10 key technologies need to be broken through, including three-dimensional environment perception and recognition technology based on vision, multi-source and multi-channel sensing heterogeneous data fusion technology, global precision positioning technology based on environmental understanding, and multi-machine collaborative cluster interaction and control technology.
Liu Junhong, chairman of Shenzhen Oriental Saifu Investment Co., LTD., said, “By taking the opportunity of the 2023 China International Digital Economy Expo, we had an in-depth contact with the Tangshan municipal government and learned about Tangshan’s policy on talent attraction and the advantages of developing the robot industry.” She hopes to attract robot chain master enterprises and industry backbone enterprises with strong industrial chain control to Tangshan through the strength of industrial funds, and launch more robot application scenarios and system solutions to further optimize the robot industry ecology in Tangshan.
Qu Daokui, founder of Siasun Robots, introduced the development of Siasun robots and how robots enable the development of the digital economy at the conference. In 2021, the industrial robot market in China will become the world’s largest industrial robot consumer market for the ninth consecutive year. The share of self-owned brand robots in China’s industrial robot sales market in 2021 is 32%, which is 0.2 percentage points higher than that in 2020. In terms of national defense security, emergency rescue, polar scientific research, space exploration, etc., intelligent robots can replace people into the “special” environment for operations, improve the efficiency and quality of task completion, reduce casualties, reduce risks, and even complete tasks that are impossible for humans, most of which are national needs.
Huang Xiaoqing, chairman of the company, introduced at the conference that the company will comprehensively upgrade humanoid intelligent robots, promote the deep integration of the digital economy and the real economy through AI technology, and help the development of smart cities, smart agriculture, family pension, smart medical care, high-end intelligent manufacturing, commercial retail, smart education and other industries. With the continuous development and improvement of artificial intelligence technology, the era of artificial intelligence is gradually coming. This means that AI will be able to solve more and more problems, and will no longer be limited to a specific domain, but will be able to apply to multiple domains, with profound implications for society, the economy, and everyone. With the advent of the era of artificial intelligence, we will usher in a new era of human-computer symbiosis.
Wang Hongbo, senior vice president of Strict Group (formerly HIT Robot), introduced at the conference: Strict Group has built an innovative research and development system for the field of robotics, forming a positive development trend of “promoting the transformation of results and building industrial clusters”. Through the effective aggregation of a variety of research and development elements, Strict Group has achieved a demand-oriented and efficient research and development capacity building, focusing on market players with product upgrading needs, helping to solve the problem of supply chain bottlenecks. It not only supports the innovation ability of the market main body, but also gathers the landing of the innovation main body in the local, and then collaboratively forms a good situation of industrial agglomeration.
