The era of global energy conservation and emission reduction has arrived
With the development of the global economy, the use of primary energy continues to increase, resulting in environmental problems and energy shortages, and the problem of rising energy prices has plagued every country.
It is reported that the total annual energy consumption of the world is about 13.4 billion tons of standard coal, of which oil, natural gas, coal and other fossil energy accounts for 85%, most of the electricity is also dependent on fossil energy production, nuclear energy, solar energy, hydropower, wind, geothermal and other energy accounts for only 15%. Because the price of fossil energy is relatively low, the development and utilization technology is relatively mature, and has been systematized and standardized. In the next 20 years, oil will remain the most important energy source, and global demand will grow at an average annual rate of 1.9%. Coal is still the main fuel for electricity production, and global demand will grow by 1.5% per year. It can be seen that fossil energy is still the energy basis for the survival and development of the world.
According to relevant analysis, the world’s energy consumption in 2020 will be three times that of the current. It is particularly noteworthy that energy consumption in countries around the world is closely related to GDP growth. From the perspective of the history of energy use in developed countries, the per capita GDP is between 1000 and 10000 US dollars, and the per capita energy consumption grows rapidly, and after the GDP exceeds 10000 US dollars, the per capita energy consumption begins to slow down. China is in a period of rapid growth of per capita energy consumption, oil demand growth is strong, is expected to reach 4.0 to 450 million tons in 2020; China’s per capita recoverable reserves of oil, natural gas and coal account for 20.1%, 5.1% and 86.2% of the world average, respectively, and the contradiction between supply and demand is quite sharp.
At present, the world energy structure dominated by coal and oil has brought about global energy and environmental problems. Urban air pollution has reached very serious levels in many developing countries, and transboundary air pollution has also occurred in Europe and North America. The energy structure of our country, which is dominated by coal and oil, has also caused serious air pollution. Among them, 2003 became the hottest year on record, which sounded the alarm for us.
Under the combined effect of various domestic and international factors, global energy prices have risen significantly in recent years, and continue to rise. Domestic and international oil prices soared, causing domestic coal and oil prices to rise; The price increase of coal and oil has promoted the chain rise of the on-grid price and the sale price of the secondary energy power.
In order to achieve long-term sustainable development, China will start with the reform of energy price formation mechanism, will gradually increase the level of energy benchmark price, curb the excessive growth of energy consumption, promote the transformation of economic growth mode, establish a conservation-oriented society, so that energy and economy, environment are coordinated development.
The world is looking for a way to improve energy efficiency and save energy. Contract energy management (EPC) is now “emerging” in China. Since the 1970s, a company in Texas, the United States, launched the automatic light switch, to install the first benefit after the service model, not only eliminate the user’s worries, but also create the embryonic form of energy-saving service enterprise operation EPC. This business model is spreading across the world’s energy industries…
