At home and abroad, “saving and reducing” is imminent
Recently, the International Energy Agency (IEA) released its 2012 annual report “World Energy Outlook”, which immediately aroused the attention of the media in various countries, the report predicted that by 2020, the United States may surpass Saudi Arabia and become the world’s first oil (gas) producer.
With the constant change of the world’s energy structure and the increasing use of energy, all countries are doing everything possible to seek energy saving and emission reduction measures and ease the energy crisis “export”.
Recently, the United Kingdom introduced a new energy Bill. The bill states that the UK will carry out a thorough reform of the domestic electricity market, support the construction of low-carbon electricity generation infrastructure, establish a low-carbon manufacturing supply chain, and transform the existing fossil fuel based energy structure into a diversified renewable energy structure. It is understood that the bill’s adjustment of the UK’s energy structure will also help the UK reduce its dependence on natural gas. In addition, the UK also plans to enact new fiscal stimulus policies to encourage households and businesses to replace old equipment and replace with new energy-saving equipment.
French Environment Minister Delphine Barteau has announced the launch of a national energy debate. In the next eight months, national and local representatives and social groups will discuss how to achieve the “energy transition” in France, reduce the proportion of nuclear power generation, support the development of renewable energy and energy investment and other issues, determine the energy development goals in the next few years, resulting in an energy development plan, submitted to the government for consideration, and finally written into the 2013 budget law.
In Australia, the report “Building a Green Australia in the Next 10 Years” said that many parts of Australia have abundant solar and wind energy resources, and heavy investment in solar and wind energy infrastructure can create more green jobs, while reducing air pollution and saving energy.
The U.S. government has approved a vacant land conversion program in the western United States that will convert 1,153 square kilometers of vacant land into solar farms. The relevant departments of the United States believe that this project makes full use of the solar energy resources in the region, promotes the development of new energy undertakings, and is of great significance to reduce the United States’ dependence on foreign refined oil and other energy sources. The 1,153 square kilometers of land is divided into 17 zones, and the site of the solar power plant is close to the main electrical transmission lines, reducing the loss of electronic transmission.
Whether it is energy saving transformation, or new energy utilization, countries’ energy saving and emission reduction “action” is constantly, which fully proves that the energy situation of countries is in jeopardy, and energy saving and emission reduction is imminent.
At the same time, EPC has gradually been recognized by the market, as the origin of EPC – EPC in the United States has been extended to traffic signal systems, sewage treatment plants, street lights, water meter systems and other fields, and gradually mature. In 1997, the EPC model landed in China, and energy-saving service companies were established in Beijing, Liaoning and Shandong. The EPC mechanism not only promotes the development of energy conservation and emission reduction, but also speeds up the rapid growth of energy conservation service companies. Many enterprises focus on EPC projects, making EPC not only adapt to China’s energy environment after its introduction into China, but also improve and reasonable operation step by step. It is believed that with the full promotion of relevant national departments, the EPC model will certainly play a greater role in China’s energy conservation and emission reduction cause.
