Lightweight solutions reduce the barriers to transformation and accelerate the digital transformation of smes
Small and medium-sized enterprises, which account for more than 90% of the number of enterprises in China, have become the backbone of China’s industrial digital transformation. In the process of digital transformation, smes not only need to choose suitable tools for themselves, but also need to learn from advanced management practices and give full play to the value of digital tools. To this end, Siemens selected 15 core links in the typical scenario of intelligent manufacturing of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, conducted assessment and diagnosis of two dimensions of business operation and digital technology application for each link, and jointly established the “Spark smes digital transformation capability evaluation platform” with the Machinery Industry Information Research Institute. Smes can choose the links with high business relevance and priority attention, and independently complete the judgment of basic capabilities and status quo of digital transformation through this platform, so as to clarify the status quo of enterprises, analyze bottlenecks, and find the right direction before transformation.
