Industrial automation and instrumentation
Industrial and building automation systems are rapidly digitizing, integrating detection, connectivity, and analysis to improve energy efficiency, unlock key insights, and personalize results. Demonstrations will cover advanced intelligent motion control, asset health monitoring, seamlessly connected smart edge devices, and efficient power management, demonstrating the positive role ADI technology is playing in building a more sustainable industrial future. Examples include communication technologies for unlocking intelligent edges in digital factories, advanced optical inspection technologies for precise control of robots, and integrated systems for intelligent building automation.
CARS
ADI’s technology is helping automakers improve the automotive cabin environment through audio, voice, Ethernet and display solutions, as well as advanced battery solutions for electric vehicles. ADI technology enables the automotive industry to provide customers with a more immersive and personalized cockpit experience. Demonstrations in the automotive sector include a comprehensive battery management system for lithium-ion battery energy storage, the ADI LISTNâ„¢ platform that enables simultaneous use of two independent voice assistants inside the cockpit, and the Gigabit Multimedia Serial Link (GMSL) -based SerDes solution. The solution will lay the foundation for automotive Oems to deploy high-resolution sensors in software-defined vehicles in the future.
Medical and health
ADI partners with customers to shape the future of digital and decentralized health care, making it easier for people to access health care at lower costs. Smart sensors, precision simulations, high-performance signal processing and advanced algorithms are at the heart of ADI’s healthcare solutions. Keynote demonstrations included a contactless health monitoring system, the industry’s first vital signs monitoring module placed on or inside a patient’s mattress or pillow, and an exercise bike with a low-cost power meter that also supports the ADI biometric sensor platform for activity-tracking wristbands. Analog Devices’ Health Sensor Platform 4.0, an open source reference design for chest patches that provides 24/7 vital sign monitoring, will also be featured in the demo.
Consumer electronics and communications
A display wall will highlight innovative consumer electronics devices developed by customers and powered by ADI’s digital signal processing, audio, video, power and software solutions. Products unveiled will include low-power wireless headphones, high-performance speaker bars, and the next generation of consumer electronics that enable highly immersive interactions between people and technology. The communication solution demonstration included a high-speed wireless data interconnect system and an optimized 5G RF signal chain power supply design.
