On October 18, according to the National Bureau of Statistics, in September, industrial added value above designated size increased by 4.5% year-on-year (the growth rate of added value is the real growth rate after deducting price factors). From a month-on-month point of view, in September, the industrial added value above designated size increased by 0.36% over the previous month. From January to September, the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 4.0% year-on-year.
Divided into three categories, the value added of mining increased by 1.5 per cent year-on-year in September, manufacturing by 5.0 per cent, and electricity, heat, gas and water production and supply by 3.5 per cent.
By economic type, in September, the added value of state-owned holding enterprises increased by 5.9% year-on-year; Joint-stock enterprises increased by 5.6%, and enterprises invested by foreign investors and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan enterprises increased by 0.4%. Private companies grew 3.3 percent.
By industry, in September, 26 of the 41 major industries maintained year-on-year growth in added value. Among them, the coal mining and washing industry increased by 1.4%, the oil and natural gas extraction industry increased by 3.4%, the agricultural and sideline food processing industry increased by 1.2%, the wine, beverage and refined tea manufacturing industry increased by 2.7%, the textile industry increased by 0.8%, the chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing industry increased by 13.4%, and the non-metallic mineral products industry decreased by 1.7%. Ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry increased by 9.9%, non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry increased by 8.4%, general equipment manufacturing industry was flat year-on-year, special equipment manufacturing industry increased by 1.6%, automobile manufacturing industry increased by 9.0%, railway, ship, aerospace and other transportation equipment manufacturing industry increased by 2.6%. The manufacturing of electrical machinery and equipment increased by 11.5 percent, the manufacturing of computers, communications and other electronic equipment increased by 4.5 percent, and the production and supply of electricity and heat increased by 4.6 percent.
By product, in September, 337 products out of 620 products increased year-on-year. 11.782 million tons of steel, an increase of 5.5%; 188.87 million tons of cement, down 7.2%; 10 kinds of non-ferrous metals 6.42 million tons, an increase of 7.3%; 2.64 million tons of ethylene, an increase of 5.7%; The number of automobiles was 2.833 million, up by 3.4%, of which 847,000 were new-energy vehicles, up by 12.5%; Electricity generation was 745.6 billion KWH, up 7.7%; Crude oil processing capacity was 63.62 million tons, up by 12.0%.
In September, the sales rate of industrial enterprises was 97.4%, down 0.4 percentage points year on year; Industrial enterprises achieved export delivery value of 1,368.3 billion yuan, a nominal decline of 3.6%.
