IAR, a global leader in embedded development software and services, announced today that it has entered into an eco-partnership with VCCIC, Inc. (VCCIC) to fully support the application development of the CKS32 series MCUS. This collaboration will further promote the development of embedded systems and provide developers with more complete and efficient development solutions.
The IAR Embedded Workbench integrated development environment has been one of the preferred embedded software development solutions for many developers around the world. This powerful suite of tools has been fully supported by the CKS32 series MCUS, providing unmatched support for developers. With this solution, developers can take full advantage of code optimization capabilities while also benefiting from a range of powerful debugging capabilities, including code and data breakpoints, runtime stack analysis, call stack visualization, and more. In addition, IAR Embedded Workbench integrates C-STAT, a static code analysis tool, with C-RUN, a dynamic code analysis tool, to help developers identify potential problems early and improve code quality. In addition, IAR provides functional safety versions certified by TUV SUD to meet functional safety certification standards such as ISO 26262, providing strong support for developers developing functional safety products.
Zkic is a first-class research unit and integrated circuit backbone enterprise in China. Zkic MCU Division focuses on the research and development, production and sales of 32-bit MCU chips, and has supplied many series of MCU products in batches. At present, the CKS32 series of MCUS has developed into 18 product sequences, covering more than 100 production models, and is well-known in the industry for its excellent computing performance, compatibility, user experience, as well as the quality and life cycle control ability of the whole industry chain. These MCUS are widely used in high-end consumer electronics, energy management, automotive electronics, industrial control, motor drives, smart meters, medical electronics, security, wireless communications and other areas with high safety and reliability requirements.
Mr. Hu Kai, General Manager of the MCU Business Unit, said, “We are very pleased to establish a partnership with IAR. This cooperation will help ZCMCUs better meet the needs of domestic customers, while providing more efficient, convenient and secure MCU code debugging and optimization support for customers of vehicle scale MCU chips that meet ISO26262 functional safety requirements. We will continue to work closely with our ecological partners in the industry to build a complete ecological environment and provide customers with comprehensive support from chip hardware to software algorithms, from reference schemes to system design.”
Kiyo Uemura, IAR’s Vice President for Asia Pacific, said: “We are very pleased with our partnership with SMIC. This partnership provides Chinese developers with high-quality development tools, as well as original technical support. We see China as the most important market in the world and know that it is full of potential and opportunities. We will continue to work closely with local Chinese manufacturers to jointly build a prosperous ecosystem in the embedded field and provide world-class technical support and solutions to local customers to promote the vigorous development of China’s embedded industry.”
Cocore and IAR jointly look forward to providing more resources and support for embedded developers and end users, and bringing more innovation and breakthroughs to the embedded field in China.
