In July, Indian autonomous industrial robot maker Ati Motors Pvt. The company announced Saturday that it has raised $10.85 million in Series A funding. The investment, which coincides with the company’s product launch, will further accelerate the development and application of Ati Motors’ robotics technology to automate operations in industrial environments and warehouses.
The Series A round was led by True Ventures, a Silicon Valley venture capital firm focused on early-stage technology companies. Athera Ventures Partners also joined as a new investor, bringing its extensive experience in deep technology investments. Previous investors Blume Ventures, Exfinity Ventures and MFV Partners also participated in the round.
The latest financing will enable Ati Motors to expand into the US, Southeast Asia, Japan and Europe, while exploring untapped opportunities in the pharmaceutical, chemical, Marine and injection molding sectors. Ati Motors will continue to invest in research and development to bring new products and capabilities to market.
At the product launch, the Ati Motors team showed off a new model of its advanced autonomous mobile robot designed to increase productivity and efficiency across industries. The company’s robots are inspired by self-driving cars, which combine artificial intelligence, computer vision, and hardware to perform complex tasks in dynamic environments. The main use cases involve warehousing, logistics manufacturing and other industries. The company has achieved strong product market adaptability in factories in the automotive, tire and electrical industries.
