During the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIF), Siemens officially released the Siemens Xcelerator eco-partner “Star Plan” (hereinafter referred to as Siemens “Star Plan”), which aims to play the platform network effect based on the open digital business platform Siemens Xcelerator. Share knowledge and technical resources with ecological partners, create services and solutions, and win new opportunities for digitalization and low-carbon development.

In order to better support the collaborative development of ecological partners, Siemens further clarified the rights and interests of Siemens Xcelerator ecological partners. Siemens will make use of its own software, hardware and service capabilities, localized complete value chain, and global resources, from the three dimensions of technology empowerment, brand empowerment, and sales empowerment, to help partners enhance their competitiveness in the field of digitalization and low-carbon, with ecological power to help the transformation and upgrading of the industry.
Technology empowerment is the core concept of Siemens Xcelerator Eco-Partner. Designed to help partners develop and deliver differentiated solutions using the latest Siemens technology, easily integrate an open and interoperable portfolio of products from all parties on the platform to meet the individual needs of customers.
Specifically, technology enablement will include cooperation in the following areas:
• Co-construction and collaboration technical standards: Siemens and partners based on Siemens Xcelerator jointly developed ecological product collaboration technical standards, covering software and hardware interoperability, flexibility, openness and as a service and other technical standards system, to accelerate the implementation of ecological products, to help customers create simple, flexible, and scalable digital transformation service capabilities.
Co-creation of solutions: Based on the Siemens Xcelerator, Siemens co-develops solutions with partners to meet customer needs. These solutions will integrate cutting-edge digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data and the Internet of Things to help customers improve efficiency, reduce costs and enhance competitiveness. This year, Siemens’ “Star Program” will focus on creating solutions for the automotive and supply chain parts manufacturing, food and beverage industries.
Sharing knowledge and experience: Siemens shares knowledge and experience with eco-partners to help them make the most of digital tools and platforms by developing training and education programs to better serve their customers.
• Co-development of new business models: Siemens Xcelerator supports the development of new business models, such as the deployment of as-a-service products and solutions together with partners, which not only help customers meet technical challenges, but also provide them with customized development by human resources.
• Working together for a sustainable future: Siemens Xcelerator and its partners will commit to sustainable development goals, jointly researching and developing green solutions to reduce resource waste and environmental pollution.
Brand empowerment: Partners and their solutions will not only be able to leverage the communication resources of the Siemens Xcelerator online platform to increase industry awareness and influence, but will also have the opportunity to engage in joint marketing and brand marketing with Siemens. At the same time, the partners will also have the support of Siemens marketing resources and marketing experts.

At present, Siemens Xcelerator has nearly 40 eco-partners covering sales and services, joint solutions, platform certified merchants and knowledge, and has made a lot of progress in the deployment of SaaS model solutions, helping enterprises go green, and realizing industrial digital transformation.
Siemens and its partner, New Nuclear Cloud, successfully promoted the deployment of Smart ECX, a smart energy carbon management platform, in SaaS mode. This deployment will help Red Flag Instrument Co., Ltd. achieve full digital management of energy assets, refined management of energy metering, as well as shop-floor energy data visualization, energy analysis and benchmarking, and energy cost statistics and analysis.
Siemens and Deep Berry Intelligent cooperation, through the use of artificial intelligence algorithms and intelligent hardware, the agricultural management system created by the two sides to achieve intelligent monitoring of the farm environment, accurate decision-making and automatic control, can significantly improve the yield and quality of agricultural products, and then promote the digital innovation of agricultural production.
In addition, during the Expo, Siemens also signed cooperation agreements with Xinwang Da, Hesteel, Beichen Cycle and other enterprises to help more battery and steel companies go to sea through the deployment of SiGREEN, a credible actuarial and traceability solution for Siemens’ carbon footprint. Siemens International Green and low-carbon services rely on SiGREEN to help overseas companies meet the requirements of overseas markets for carbon footprint disclosure of export products. At the same time, Siemens and the China Institute of Electronics and Information Industry Development jointly compiled the White Paper on Enterprise Green Going to the Sea to interpret the impact of relevant policies in overseas markets on export business, and help Chinese enterprises develop reasonable countermeasures and strengthen technological innovation.
