In the opening session of the conference, Zhang Dengfeng, secretary of the Party Committee of Hangzhou High-tech Zone (Binjiang), said in his speech that in recent years, the High-tech Zone (Binjiang) has adhered to the innovation-driven development strategy, anchored the main track of the digital economy, created the whole chain of core industries of the digital economy, and formed a number of strategic emerging industrial clusters such as visual intelligence, integrated circuits, and high-end equipment. It is hoped that CCC will seize the opportunity of the development of the digital economy, promote the security of the high-end equipment industry chain, deepen the digital transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry, and make greater contributions to promoting the high-quality development of the national manufacturing industry.
Li Min, a member of the Party group, deputy director and first-level inspector of Zhejiang Economic and Information Department, said in his speech that in recent years, Zhejiang has deeply explored the new paradigm of “industrial brain + future factory”, innovated and created the industrial brain of the industry, took the construction of future factories as the starting point, and systematically promoted the digital transformation and intelligent upgrading of large, small and medium-sized enterprises, not only creating the future factory as the golden card of Zhejiang intelligence. The Zhejiang experience of digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises has also been exported to the whole country. It is hoped that CCC can make greater contributions to the development of digital economy in Zhejiang Province in the future.
Professor Chu Jian, founder of Zhongkong, said in his speech that in the practice of serving nearly 30,000 process industrial enterprises in automation, digitalization and intelligence, Zhongkong has been thinking about how to help enterprises further establish a digital operation system on the basis of realizing automation and informatization, and comprehensively enhance the competitiveness of enterprises through digital transformation. In the keynote report of the plenary conference, Li Peigen, professor of Huazhong University of Science and Technology and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, brought a report entitled “AI enables enterprises to sublimate and surpass”, he said that artificial intelligence is widely used in design, processing, manufacturing, warehousing, logistics and other links, and the application of artificial intelligence is everywhere. However, at present, the application potential of AI artificial intelligence is underestimated. Artificial intelligence applications have surpassed human thinking in some fields, generative design will be popular, and many designs will be led by intelligent systems and assisted by people in the future. Artificial intelligence helps people go beyond physical and real space, and the physical space manufactured and the space conceived by the designer can be mapped to the manufacturing meta-universe space where digital and physical are intertwined, and virtual and reality are integrated, making manufacturing activities more orderly and optimized.
Qian Feng, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and professor of East China University of Science and Technology, presented a report with the theme of “Digital Transformation of Raw material Industry Facilitated by the integration of data and Reality”. In view of the many challenges faced by China’s raw material industry, the report discusses the ideas and ways of digital transformation and development of China’s raw material industry through digital integration from the industrial chain supply chain and manufacturing process, and expounds how to strengthen the demand-driven industrial intelligence frontier technology research, enabling the high-quality development of raw material industry. He pointed out that through the production chain supply chain value chain collaborative intelligent decision-making, real-time independent intelligent regulation of the manufacturing process, safety and environmental protection operation and maintenance intelligent management and control, it will achieve the efficient use of resources and energy in the manufacturing process, green and low-carbon production, high value and high-end products and the largest value chain.
Bob Gill, Managing Director, Southeast Asia, ARC Consulting Group, with a global perspective, said in the keynote report “Digital Transformation Trends in the Process Industry” that the process industry needs more flexibility and agility to maintain a competitive edge and build resilient supply chains, where modern control systems can be an enabler of transformation. He encouraged enterprises to use the power of digitalization and intelligence, use generative AI to improve manufacturing performance, continuously improve product quality, reduce costs, and continue to promote the innovation and development of the industry.
Cui Shan, chairman and president of Zhongcong Technology, said in the keynote report of “Exploration and Practice of Process industry smart Factory” that based on automation, taking digital transformation as the way, and taking intelligence as the goal, the transformation and upgrading from traditional factories to future smart factories has become the just need of process industry enterprises. Zhongcong creatively proposed a new model of “1+2+N” smart factory construction, including “1 factory operating system, 2 automations [Process Automation (PA) and Business Automation (BA)], and N industrial apps. It provides a clear implementation path for the construction of future smart factories.
At the same time, Zhongcong OMC2.0 system, APEX2.0 and all-device intelligent perception platform PRIDE1.0 three new products were officially released at this conference. Among them, the all-equipment intelligent sensing platform PRIDE1.0, as a “sensing base”, realizes the interconnection of dynamic, static, electrical, instrument, control and other equipment in the whole plant, forming a “skin” of the whole plant. Combined with the “nerve endings” formed by various instruments, the production process can be observed, measured and comprehensively sensed, and the potential risks can be predicted and warned in advance.
Cui Shan pointed out that the factory operating system, as a “data base”; The whole process intelligent operation management and control system (OMC), as the “control base”; Process Industrial Process Simulation and Design Platform (APEX) as a “simulation base”; As the “perception base”, PRIDE is the four core product base of the new model of “1+2+N” mode smart factory, and 5T technology + four core product base will provide the most powerful support for the realization of “1+2+N” process industry smart factory in the future.
