The industrial scenes with large load and low precision requirements mainly use cylindrical tooth shape, worm gear and cycloidal pin wheel reducer, and cycloidal pin wheel reducer can replace the first two kinds of reducer in most scenarios. Precision requirements of robots, CNC machine tools, aerospace and other fields mainly use precision planetary reducer, harmonic reducer and RV reducer.

The harmonic reducer has small volume and large transmission ratio, and is suitable for robot forearm, hand, wrist and other parts. The domestic precision reducer is gradually approaching the international frontier level, and there is still room for greater progress
Some parameters of domestic harmonic reducer and RV reducer have reached the international top level. In terms of harmonic reducer, the Japanese products represented by Hamanak have larger torque, higher transmission accuracy, smaller space and back backlash, and a life of up to 50,000 hours, and the domestic harmonic reducer is relatively superior in the deceleration ratio range, space and weight, of which Haozhi mechanical and electrical products transmission accuracy and life are basically equivalent to Hamanak products. In terms of RV reducer, the BX series products launched by China Power Germany are equivalent to Nabotsk’s RV-E series products in most indicators, but the accuracy performance is smaller. Overall, there is still a certain gap between the domestic reducer and the world’s advanced level, but some parameters have been comparable.
Because the harmonic reducer structure is relatively simple, compared with the RV reducer, domestic manufacturers are easier to approach the international frontier level.
