Eight departments including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology jointly issued the “14th Five-Year” Intelligent Manufacturing Development Plan “to clarify the development goals and paths of intelligent manufacturing in China.
In the past decade, through industry-university-research collaborative innovation, industrial enterprise demonstration application, and central and local joint planning and promotion, the development of intelligent manufacturing in China has made great progress. However, compared with the requirements of high-quality development, the development of intelligent manufacturing still has problems such as low supply adaptability, weak innovation ability, insufficient application depth and breadth, and lack of professional talents. The new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation in the world are advancing rapidly, providing historical opportunities for the high-end, intelligent and green development of the manufacturing industry. At the same time, the world is undergoing profound changes unseen in a century, the international environment is becoming increasingly complex, global scientific and industrial competition is becoming more intense, and the strategic game between major countries is further focusing on manufacturing. The United States “Advanced Manufacturing Leadership strategy”, Germany’s “National Industrial Strategy 2030”, Japan’s “Society 5.0” and other development strategies to revitalize the manufacturing industry are mainly focused on intelligent manufacturing. At present, our country has turned to a stage of high-quality development, is in the key period of transforming the development method, optimizing the economic structure, and transforming the growth driver. Standing at the historic intersection point of a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial reform and our country’s accelerated high-quality development, we must unswervingly take intelligent manufacturing as the main direction, promote industrial technological change and optimization and upgrading. Promote the fundamental transformation of the industrial model and enterprise form of the manufacturing industry, improve the quality, efficiency and efficiency, reduce the consumption of resources and energy, smooth the industrial chain and supply chain, help carbon to achieve peak carbon neutrality, and promote China’s manufacturing industry to move towards the middle and high end of the global value chain. China’s intelligent manufacturing development goals: By 2025, most of the planned manufacturing enterprises to achieve digital networking, key industry backbone enterprises initial application of intelligence; By 2035, the planned manufacturing enterprises will fully popularize the digital network, and the backbone enterprises in key industries will basically realize intelligence.
