Breakthroughs have been made in key technologies
Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, China’s key software has continuously made breakthroughs, and the development of key software such as basic software and industrial software has achieved remarkable results. For example, the cumulative load of Huawei Hongmeng mobile operating system has exceeded 290 million units, 1.61 million registered individual developers, forming more than 49,000 atomized services, and accelerating the construction of application ecology; Dameng Database has “rooted and grown” in many fields such as power grid, e-government, civil aviation and finance in the past ten years, ranking first in domestic database market share. WPS office software seized the development opportunity of mobile Internet, released the mobile version in 2011, and won the world’s favor, the product has covered more than 220 countries and regions, and the terminal monthly active users exceeded 310 million; The domestic three-dimensional CAD (computer-aided design) modeling ability continues to improve, and the functional performance of products has approached the international medium level; The application of domestic DCS (distributed control system) software in chemical and petrochemical fields continues to expand, and product stability and reliability continue to improve, reaching the international advanced level.
In the past decade, cloud computing has increasingly integrated with 5G, edge computing and other technologies, becoming the cornerstone of the development of the digital economy, and cloud native has become a new high ground for cloud computing innovation and breakthrough. The depth and breadth of blockchain applications continue to improve. By the end of 2021, China’s blockchain record enterprises have reached 1,064, and the industrial chain has initially taken shape; Since 2016, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has collected nearly 10,000 application cases for the whole society, selected 338 excellent big data products and application solutions, and 604 typical big data pilot demonstration projects, continued to strengthen demonstration leadership, and promoted innovative breakthroughs in the big data industry.
In the past ten years, with the acceleration of the overall development of the new generation of information technology and the continuous growth of enterprises, a group of leading enterprises represented by Huawei, Yonyou, Kirin, Dameng, etc., continue to lead major technological breakthroughs. At the same time, it has also cultivated a large number of unicorn enterprises, making excellent contributions to segmented technology breakthroughs, and promoting the segmented technology fields such as distributed databases, industrial Internet platforms, and intelligent voice to have certain competitiveness in the world.
At present, there are more than 5,000 new generation of information technology “specialized and special new” enterprises above the provincial level, accounting for more than 21% of the “specialized and special new” enterprises above the provincial level, and more than 1,500 national generation of information technology “specialized and special new” enterprises, accounting for 32% of the national “specialized and special new” enterprises.
Convergent innovation brings change
“Ten years ago, there were few large manufacturing companies with domestic industrial software. At present, 68 of the 97 central enterprises have introduced Inspur Cloud ERP (enterprise resource planning) products to promote their own digital transformation.” Inspur Group executive president Wang Xingshan said.
With the in-depth implementation of the two strategies of network power and manufacturing power, the new generation of information technology has accelerated the integration and innovation of manufacturing industry, and has become an important driver for driving the digital transformation of manufacturing industry and enhancing the core competitiveness of manufacturing industry.
The policy support system continued to improve. Focusing on the big data strategy and the healthy development of the digital economy, China has issued a series of documents such as the “14th Five-Year Plan for Digital Economy Development” to strengthen the strategic deployment of integrated development. A series of action plans and implementation plans have been formulated around the industrial Internet, digital transformation, industrial e-commerce, industrial APP cultivation, and the construction of manufacturing “double creation” platforms, and a policy system of “top-level strategy, planning and deployment, and action landing” has been formed.
The foundation of the technology industry is increasingly solid. By the end of 2021, the CNC rate of key processes in key areas of manufacturing and the penetration rate of digital R & D and design tools were 70.9% and 74.7%, respectively, an increase of 46.3 and 25.9 percentage points over 2012. The overall layout of China’s industrial Internet has entered the forefront of the world, the network infrastructure has continued to upgrade, the identification analysis system has been basically completed, the total registered amount has exceeded 100 billion, the platform resource allocation capacity has been significantly enhanced, there are more than 150 comprehensive, characteristic and professional industrial Internet platforms, and the technical monitoring service system of national, provincial and enterprise three-level coordination has been basically completed.
The innovation vitality of enterprises has been significantly enhanced. In 2021, the total number of research and experimental development institutions and R&D expenditure of industrial enterprises above designated size doubled compared with 2012, and the number of valid invention patent applications increased by more than two times. In 2021, China has 143 companies on the world’s top 500 list, ranking first in the world, and 176 unicorn companies, accounting for 18% of the world’s total. The level of specialization of small and medium-sized enterprises continues to improve, and has cultivated more than 40,000 “specialized and special” enterprises, more than 4,700 “small giant” enterprises, and nearly 600 individual champion enterprises in the manufacturing industry.
The digitization level of key industries has been continuously improved. At present, the industrial Internet and intelligent manufacturing factories have extended to 40 national economic categories, involving raw materials, equipment, consumer goods, electronics and other key areas of manufacturing, and gradually formed typical application scenarios such as product quality traceability, unmanned intelligent inspection, supply chain management and full life cycle management.
“In the process of the integration of the two and the implementation of intelligent manufacturing, typical new business forms and new models such as industrial Internet and digital factories are growing up. Information and digital methods have covered the whole industrial chain from production design to product terminals, and the industrial Internet is helping enterprises improve quality and upgrade, reduce costs and increase efficiency through 5G, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and industrial simulation technology.” “Gaudin said.
