On December 2, 2023-2024 Machinery Industry Vocational Education Skills Competition -3D Vision and Precision Measurement Technology (National Competition) officially kicked off at the Training Center of Tianjin Vocational and Technical Normal University. The competition was sponsored by the Machinery Industry Education and Development Center, Tianjin Vocational and Technical Normal University, Tianjin Deep Micro Science and Technology joint undertaking, from Tianjin University, Tianjin University of Science and Technology, Civil Aviation University of China and other more than 10 colleges and universities participated in the competition. This national skills competition aims to further deepen the integration of industry and science, promote the sustainable development of “artificial intelligence +”, and cultivate outstanding talents for the upgrading of intelligent manufacturing in the fields of semiconductor, 3C electronic integration, and automobile manufacturing. According to the competition rules, the teams participating in this national skills competition must be based on colleges and universities, and each college must select a maximum of two teams. The teams must complete the designated competition tasks within the specified time, in accordance with the relevant information provided on the site and the competition assignment book. It mainly includes installation and debugging of vision system, programming of integrated applications such as positioning, measurement and defect detection based on robotic arm, and other related tasks. The competition focuses on assessing the practical operation ability and on-site response ability of the participants, encouraging the majority of students to continue to learn new skills, study new technologies, apply what they learn, stand out, and contribute to the long-term development of national intelligent manufacturing.
