• Extended MV16BxⅡ(1.7×2.2m) and extended MV12BxⅡ(1.3×3.0m)
•ECO operating technology reduces operating costs and environmental load
Nidco Machine Tool Co., LTD. (President: Haruhiko Nikitani, Head office: Kurito City, Shiga Prefecture), a subsidiary of NIDCO Group, has developed the “MV16BXII (1.7×2.2m)” and the “X”, which have an expanded Y-axis movement of 400 mm compared to the “MV12BXII”, which was launched in February this year The axis movement has been extended to the “MV12Bx II (1.3×3.0m)” of 1400 mm, and the sales campaign will start on Friday, December 1. Both models follow the basic concept of the “MV-BxⅡ” series of energy-efficient machine tools, which is suitable for “all kinds of processing in all industries”, while achieving a higher speed feed (32m/min per shaft) in the same class of compact gantry machining centers, greatly reducing non-processing time. In addition, it is equipped with ECO operating technology to save energy and reduce operating costs, and is a device that combines high productivity and environmental performance to meet the needs of various production scenarios.
Gantry machining center MV16BXII
The MV16BxⅡ(1.7×2.2m) is a compact gantry machining center with a 50 spindle, with a maximum spindle speed of 7,000min-1 and a feed speed of 32m/min for each X · Y · Z axis, designed to achieve maximum speed and thus reduce non-cutting time. In addition, in order to cope with heavy workpieces (workpieces to be added), the maximum loading mass is set at 8t. The X-axis is equipped with 3 rows of linear guides and a highly rigid structure that can inhibit the deviation, which can achieve stable machining even in the state of high-speed machining. The other MV12BxⅡ(1.3×3.0m) has the same basic performance, but the table length is 3,000㎜, the maximum loading mass is increased to 5t, and can support workpieces beyond the ordinary length. Both products support larger workpieces and increase productivity compared to the previous MV12BxⅡ(1.3×1.6m).
And, as a common technology of the MV-BXII series, the full-shaft ball screw adopts shaft core cooling to achieve high-precision machining, while the double-anchored structure ensures high-speed operation and high rigidity. In this way, high heavy cutting capacity and precision are ensured, and high productivity from roughing to finishing is achieved.
In addition, the use of electric power units as a common technology for ECO operation significantly reduces power consumption, while the use of grease lubricants for the spindle and feed shaft reduces operating costs such as air and lubricants and the amount of work required for replacement.
In the process of expanding this product line, the company has also jointly developed with NIDEK, which has a product line of small and medium-sized machining centers. By combining the technologies of the two companies, including the machine body and the spindle structure, the reliability of the products is ensured and the lead time is shortened, thus the product lineup is expanded. In the future, NIDEC Machine Tools Co., Ltd. will continue to rapidly develop products that meet customer needs and continue to bring them to market.
