Industrial integration has led to new forms of business
Xie Chuanjun, general manager of the solution department of 360 City Security Group, said that the industrial Internet platform can achieve real-time monitoring of the production process and equipment status of different types of enterprises, and it is very likely that major hidden dangers affecting urban security will occur in the future, whether chemical enterprises or intelligent manufacturing enterprises, and it is necessary to rely on the industrial Internet.
Sun Huifeng stressed that the industrial Internet and other new infrastructure areas have room for integration and development. Among them, it is integrated with 5G base station construction into “5G+ industrial Internet” application, integrated with UHV and new energy vehicle charging pile into smart grid application, integrated with intercity high-speed rail into intelligent rail transit system, integrated with big data center into industrial cloud and big data application, and integrated with artificial intelligence into industrial intelligent application.
“The industrial Internet plays an important role as a connector in the ‘new infrastructure’.” Liu Xu, senior vice president of Zhongcheng Think Tank, believes that the industrial Internet fully applies 5G, big data centers, artificial intelligence and other new generation information technologies to enhance empowerment. At the same time, as a new type of infrastructure that integrates new technologies and new models such as big data and artificial intelligence, the industrial Internet will provide new momentum for economic and social development.
Because of this, Lenovo, which has provided industrial Internet products and solutions for more than 100 enterprises, proposed a new intelligent infrastructure last year, that is, the “end – edge – cloud – network – intelligence” model, which is to fully integrate new technologies such as Internet of Things terminals, cloud computing, data centers, and 5G networks. “On top of this infrastructure, industries are empowered through intelligent applications.” Said Yang Yuanqing, chairman and CEO of Lenovo Group.
In Tencent’s industrial Internet application case, the industrial intelligence application integrated with artificial intelligence is very bright. For example, Tencent Cloud and ComAC jointly built AlphaGo (artificial intelligence robot) in the field of composite material inspection. In the past, the composite material detection of an aircraft tail, it takes several technicians several hours of time, the cost of hundreds of thousands of yuan, through Tencent artificial intelligence assisted detection system, only a inspector a few minutes, the cost is greatly reduced, the overall defect detection rate reached 99%.
Enhance the resilience of enterprises on all fronts
“The industrial Internet has played an important role in ensuring the prevention and control of the epidemic and supporting enterprises to resume work and production.” Xin Yongfei, director of Policy and Economic Research Institute of China Academy of Information and Communications, said.
Zhang Youming said that the industrial Internet can enhance the resilience of industrial enterprises, including solving the problem of enterprise supply chain fracture and helping enterprises to finance. During the epidemic period, Hunan UFyou provided more than 20 cloud services free of charge by relying on the Hunan Jingzhi Industry Internet platform, and launched an online service window for enterprises to resume work and production, which can provide enterprises with services such as physical examination, material supply docking, enterprise financing and loan docking, remote office service, equipment remote service, safety production and logistics transportation.
An important application scenario of the industrial Internet platform created by Tencent is to serve regional small and medium-sized enterprises, and jointly provide supply chain finance, real-time supply chain, cloud on equipment and other services to solve the financing difficulties of small and medium-sized enterprises and reduce costs.
“The application of China’s industrial Internet in various fields shows a blooming trend. Many technology-intensive and capital-intensive industries have received better support in terms of capital, policies and talents, such as machinery, steel, chemical, electronics and other industries have developed relatively rapidly, and are widely used in equipment management, product management, customized production and other fields.” The willow catkins said.
According to Sun Huifeng, the total size of China’s industrial Internet market reached 610.91 billion yuan in 2019, an increase of 14% year-on-year. With the increasingly mature cloud service ecosystem, and the gradual landing of government policies to encourage investment in the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry, the informatization investment of domestic manufacturing enterprises continues to increase, and the industrial Internet market has entered a stage of rapid growth.
Xin Yongfei expects that in 2020, the economic added value of China’s industrial Internet industry will be about 3.1 trillion yuan, accounting for 2.9% of GDP, and its contribution to economic growth will exceed 11%. Among them, the scale of added value of core industries will reach 652 billion yuan, and the economic added value driven by integration will reach 2.49 trillion yuan.
