After years of development, China’s industrial Internet industry ecology continues to grow, and the industrial scale will reach 916.48 billion yuan in 2020. At present, the country has cultivated more than 100 industrial Internet platforms with industry characteristics and regional influence, the number of connected industrial equipment has exceeded 73 million units, industrial apps have exceeded 500,000, and the development environment has been continuously optimized.
The next three years is the rapid growth period of the industrial Internet. “The next step is to create more typical application scenarios of the industrial Internet, promote the integration and innovation of ‘5G+ industrial Internet’ and the real economy in a wider range and at a higher level, and continue to lower the threshold for small and medium-sized enterprises to use the network.” Liu Liehong, vice minister of industry and information technology, said.
A multi-level platform system has taken shape
In March this year, the ninth meeting of the Financial and Economic Commission of the CPC Central Committee proposed to promote the platform economy to serve high-quality development and high-quality life, and accelerate the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries and the development of advanced manufacturing with industrial Internet platforms.
“The industrial Internet, as one of the most important paths for the digital transformation of the industry, optimizes the whole process of monitoring equipment operation, configuring production processes, managing enterprise orders, and coordinating the industrial chain by combining industry mechanism and knowledge with data drive.” Hu Jianbo, chief engineer of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, introduced that with the support of relevant policies, the number of industrial Internet platforms in China has increased rapidly, and there are now more than 600 platforms, including cross-industry cross-field comprehensive platforms, and special platforms for specific industries and specialized platforms focusing on specific technologies. “A multi-level systematic industrial Internet platform system has taken shape”.
Hu Jianbo said that the industrial Internet platform can provide customized services for the individual needs of large enterprises, and help enterprises reduce costs and increase efficiency and improve decision-making efficiency through data collection and intelligent analysis of equipment, production lines, operations and other links.
As one of the top ten “double-span” industrial Internet platform enterprises in China, Cloudiip, an industrial Internet platform independently developed by Beijing Oriental Guoxin Technology Co., LTD., has covered 29 industrial categories, including steel, cement, photovoltaic, nuclear power, coal, etc., and has served thousands of enterprises in total.
“Faced with the urgent needs of cement manufacturers to improve the level of automatic control, reduce energy consumption and reduce labor costs, we organized a team of industry experts to develop a multi-mode intelligent optimization system based on the Cloudiip platform.” Ao Zhiqiang, senior vice president of Oriental Guoxin, told reporters that the product consists of two sub-systems of multi-mode intelligent optimization and advanced process control, respectively providing parameter optimization and stability control functions, covering the firing process and raw material grinding, coal grinding, cement grinding and other processes, effectively solving the cement industry production conditions and other problems, under the premise of meeting quality constraints, It reduces the consumption of fuel and electricity, reduces the labor intensity of workers, and achieves the business objectives of “safety, stability, long cycle, full load and optimized operation” of the enterprise.
“We have conducted capability tests on 150 platform enterprises, and the results show that the general service and industrial big data analysis capabilities are generally good, but industrial data management, edge computing, human-computer interaction, and graphical programming need to be strengthened.” Hu Jianbo believes that the development of platform enterprises still faces many challenges, and how to obtain more customers and keep customers on the platform is an urgent problem to be solved. “The technical strength of domestic platform enterprises is relatively weak, and it is difficult to achieve innovative breakthroughs by going it alone. We must match both sides of supply and demand through resource integration to help platform enterprises expand the market.”
