On July 30, the 2022 China Computing Conference opened in Jinan, Shandong province. The relevant person in charge of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said that China’s computing power industry has grown rapidly, with an average growth rate of more than 30% in the past five years, and the scale of computing power ranks second in the world.
1394-SR9A China has started the construction of a number of “east to west” trunk optical cables, and all prefecture-level cities have fully built optical network cities, and the number of gigabit optical fiber users has exceeded 61 million, laying a solid foundation for the development of the computing power industry.
At present, the total scale of data center racks in use in China exceeds 5.9 million standard racks, the scale of servers is about 20 million, and the average annual growth rate of data center storage capacity exceeds 50%.
The China Academy of Information and 1394-SR9A Communications Technology estimates that by the end of 2021, the scale of China’s computing power core industry will exceed 1.5 trillion yuan, and the scale of related industries will exceed 8 trillion yuan.
Among them, the cloud computing market is more than 300 billion yuan, 1394-SR9A the Internet data center service market is more than 150 billion yuan, and the artificial intelligence core industry is more than 400 billion yuan.
“China Comprehensive Computing Power Index” released Bei-Shang-Guang leading
The conference released China’s first Comprehensive Computing Power Index, which comprehensively evaluated the computing power, data storage and transmission capabilities of various regions. From the comprehensive indicators, Beijing, Shanghai and 1394-SR9A Guangzhou are in a leading development position in terms of computing power.
The comprehensive computing power index is composed of more than 30 indicators including computing power, storage power, transport capacity and development environment. The comprehensive computing power of the provinces and cities where the eastern computing power hub nodes are located is generally at the leading level, and the market demand of the provinces in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou and the surrounding provinces is strong. The computing power, storage power, transport capacity and environment of these regions are at a relatively high level, the industrial development momentum is good, and the comprehensive computing power index is generally high. It can also be seen from the comprehensive computing power index that the east number and west calculation have a significant driving effect on some western computing power hub nodes and central provinces and cities.
In terms of the data storage capacity index, the scale and performance of the 1394-SR9A storage capacity of first-tier cities and surrounding provinces and cities are in a leading position in the country, among which Guangdong Province ranks first in the overall strength.
In terms of the capacity index, which reflects the data transmission capacity, the eastern and central regions are higher than the western regions. Zhejiang Province, Jiangsu Province and Shanghai ranked the top three in terms of capacity, while Beijing, Sichuan Province and Tianjin were limited by the number of 5G base stations per unit area, Internet dedicated line users and long-distance cable distance per unit area, and the overall capacity performance was slightly lower than that of the above provinces and cities.
