Since the beginning of this year, with the popularity of “new infrastructure”, “Industrial Internet +” on the basis of early exploration and practice, is strongly breaking into the public eye, becoming the focus of the national two sessions. In the face of this gathering wave of technology, although traditional manufacturing giants and emerging technology companies have entered the game, but for the general public, it is still a vague and even some distant concept.
CC-PUIO31 What is the Industrial Internet? Why should we vigorously develop the industrial Internet? How are decisions at the top of the country considered? What contribution can it make to economic growth? What changes will it bring to people’s lives?
Around this series of issues of public concern, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, CCTV Network, Industrial Internet Industry Alliance co-sponsored “Promoting the accelerated development of Industrial Internet -” Cloud Rise “special program. In this face-to-face forum with the audience, Lu Chuncong, Deputy Director of the Information and Communications Administration of the Ministry of CC-PUIO31 Industry and Information Technology; Wu Hequan, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering; Liu Duo, deputy to the National People’s Congress and President of the China Academy of Information and Communications; Zhou Yunjie, President of Haier Group, and Liang Baojun, Deputy General manager of China Unicom; Luan Guangfu, vice president of Chint Group, co-accepted the interview of host Zhou Yun, and Lu Chuan, president of Xugong Machinery, also participated in it through remote video.
This program is the CCTV network two sessions special planning “Economic war epidemic · Cloud rise” since its launch, the first time in the form of a special forum around the industry focus to launch a roundtable dialogue. The vivid analysis of the national economic policy, the diversified exploration of enterprise practice, and the warm touch of the people’s livelihood make this program both informative and valuable. The most valuable thing is that it turns the heavy into the light and makes the industrial Internet a thorough understanding.
Economic contribution continues to improve, the “second half” is difficult to play
The industrial Internet is known as the “second half of the Internet” – the first half is a consumer Internet with daily life as the application scenario, and the general public can easily feel it. In contrast, the industrial Internet is mainly for enterprises, and the infrastructure is difficult, the investment cycle is long, and the public awareness is much weaker. It seems that this “second half” is more difficult than the “first half”.
CC-PUIO31 Some netizens have made an image of the example: the previous consumer Internet is equivalent to the decoration of blank houses, how you can install it, and now the industrial Internet is equivalent to the decoration of second-hand houses, and the transformation is more difficult than the installation of new houses.
In the face of host Zhou Yun’s quipness, Academician Wu Hequan believes that in a certain sense, this statement is right, “relative to the low threshold of consumer Internet users, the terminal of the industrial Internet is diverse and fragmented, the entire network process is more complex, and it needs to be closely related to the production process, and there are more personalized parts between different industries and different enterprises.” It also requires far more network performance than the consumer Internet. Although it is difficult, I think one of the characteristics of the industrial Internet is that you can cut from any link, as long as you can enliven the data, you can eventually pull through and get benefits.”
CC-PUIO31 The new infrastructure represented by the industrial Internet is not just a short-term measure to deal with the current situation, but a top-level design with an early layout. According to Deputy Director Lu Chuncong: “At the end of 2017, The State Council issued the Guiding Opinions on Deepening the” Internet + Advanced Manufacturing “development of the Industrial Internet, made a comprehensive deployment of China’s development of the industrial Internet, set up a special working group for the industrial Internet, issued a three-year action plan, this year is the end of the three-year action plan, We are launching a five-year action plan for the 14th Five-Year Plan. In recent years, the industrial Internet, big data, artificial intelligence innovation is very active, and the integration with the real economy is deepening.” At present, the new infrastructure construction of the industrial Internet has been carried out around four aspects: high-quality network, identification analysis system, big data center, and security situational awareness platform.
Referring to the contribution of the industrial Internet to China’s economy, President Liu Duo shared a set of calculation data released by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology in April this year: “In 2019, the core industry of the industrial Internet has reached more than 500 billion yuan, and the integration of the industrial Internet and other industries has reached 1.6 trillion yuan.” In this case, it accounts for 1.6% of GDP, and its economic contribution is 9.9%. In addition, the entire industrial Internet will generate 2.06 million new jobs in 2019, and we predict that it will reach 2.55 million in 2020. Under the current circumstances, it can play a very big role in stabilizing growth, stabilizing investment, stabilizing employment and other aspects.”
